Malachi has been in the system. Last year he accounted for over 1700 yards on a subpar team. This year he’s put his team on his back on numerous occasions so far. Likely to play on the defensive side of the ball at the next level.

Yes emotional. One kids mother passed Wednesday so that kid had lots of love poured into him all this week.

Emotional night for the Colonels but managed to end homecoming with a shutout. Big road game next week at Lloyd Memorial.

Raceland is the best team in 1A. I think that set back where they were up 27-0 on pikeville and loose the game is what they needed on the way to a class A championship!

I think Bourbon still has a lot to prove. The top 10 is legit and they’ve not faced any team of that caliber. Lloyd will be a good game for them win or loose just to see where they stand.

Next week should be a good one with Bourbon coming to town.

Game called with 7 minutes left in the 4th due to power outage. Colonels move to 5-0 with their most impressive victory of the year.

I think at some point Bourbon will be in the mix. Haven’t really played the competition so far but will have a lot to say when they head to Lloyd for a district title match in a couple weeks.

I think Bourbon county can be a potential dark horse late in the year as long as they can stay healthy! Coach Rice has already changed the culture in just a short time.

Raceland 35 Pikeville 21

Final from Liberty.

These two teams are legit top 10 class a teams. A lot to improve on for both sides. Paris dominated the first half and Williamsburg dominated the second half. Both teams capitalized off the others mistakes. Both should have a pretty fair season.

This to me is the most intriguing match up in 1A. I like the Hounds in a nail biter.

Excited to see Tuesday night in Winchester. Grc is playing a Montgomery county team that is coming together at the right time. Paris/Bourbon game is a must see. Lots of talk around this game between to rivals.

This will be a really good game. The winner gets raceland at home round 3.

In 1A Nicholas county at Frankfort should be a good one.
