Hats off to Lloyd Memorial. Bourbon County has some special kids like Fred Carson who has returned 70% of all special team plays this year for touchdowns. Madi Bell has a legit case for best RB in 3A. These two teams could possibly meet again late in the playoffs.

Big game tonight at Bourbon County. Two teams that are not inside the top 25 in the state, but inside the next 15 in my opinion. Should be a dandy in what may be a down pour as rain is in the forecast all day. Earlier in the week I predicted 35-14 colonels. Although I still think bourbon will win, this one just feels like it will be a lot closer.

The stage is set for the Big Showdown in Paris, Ky next Friday night. Lloyd Memorial comes to town in what could be game of the week. Last year the juggernaut's protected home field in a 2 point differential. This year the Senior led Colonels are looking to answer last years loss on the road, with a statement game at home. Should be a dandy!

Agreed. Stats need to be updated through 5 games. A lot of big play guys on this Bourbon County team that can run the ball. Not a lot of teams that can score 50% of the time off special teams. We have a lot of respect for Lloyd as you guys are a very solid program. This game however will be won in the trenches. Excited to see how it all plays out in 12 days.

Woodford county has a good team and they will fix all the kinks before playoff time. Bourbon has a good team as well and we are playing with an extra chip this year after last years second round exit to the likes of Russell. Stay on the lookout for the colonels as we feel we are a bad match up for anyone in 3A outside of CAL which in my opinion is the best team in football regardless of class.
