Hazard vs. Paris Predictions/Updates

This should be an exciting week of class 1A football. This week gives us two Top 10 matchups in the class. Paris will make the 2 hour plus trip to Hazard to take on the new and improved Bulldogs. Both teams are supporting a record of 2-0 on the season. Paris has wins over Frankfort and Paintsville. Hazard has wins over Martin County and Harlan County. 
 

Hazard is averaging 42 points per game so far this season while giving up 10 points per game. Paris is averaging 45 points per game and giving up 18 points per game. This game has the makings of a high scoring affair. Who wins this 1A showdown?

This to me is the most intriguing match up in 1A. I like the Hounds in a nail biter.

Paris added Alex Koeder this past week against Paintsville and he had a heck of a game. He looked very impressive.

The battle of quarterbacks in this one could be huge. Both will need to use there senior leadership in this one.

Alex Koeder had a good first game for the hounds. He had 10 carriers for 116 yards and 3 touchdowns.

For certain a Class A game for everyone to pay attention to. Real tough road game for Paris. I can't figure them out after week 1. I think Hazard out schemes Paris.

Paris-(SR) Elijah Webb 2 rushes for 67 yards. 4 catches for 35 yards and 2 touchdowns. He has 2 tackles and 1 INT and on the season.

Hazard will need another solid effort from someone other than Gavin Johnson too this week. Jayvon White had an excellent game last week. He had 7 catches for 150 yards and 1 touchdown.
