Oldercoach Posted October 4 Posted October 4 My favorite 2 hours of the week is spent between BGP and Scoreboard. After a quick review of Friday night game results I will go directly to BGP and read game summaries, Saturday morning QB observations, ref bashing, and even lots of objective congrats to both teams. At 79 I can’t attend many games, but I greatly appreciate live-streaming, the videos that get posted, and the comments that come from a diverse group of BGP members. A wise friend once shared, “The older we get the better we use to be.” Too true to be original. 18 1
theguru Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I sort through a mountain of BGP work every Saturday morning. Today I watched some F1 practice and got all my TVs set up so I can watch multiple college football games. Now I am sipping on my instant coffee thinking about my workout. 🤷♂️ 2
Jumper_Dad Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Sleep in a bit, a little breakfast with my girl then flip on Gameday. Rinse and repeat, pretty much every Saturday in the fall. 4
BEChargers Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Cartoons, a couple of bowls of cereal and then Memphis wrestling at 11 am. Oops, sorry, you mentioned 79 and 1979 popped in my head. I usually watch a couple more of the games from Friday night, Youtube or NFHS. Scan preps and KHSAA scoreboard. 2 2
Tranquility Base Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Sleep in, turn on College Game Day and watch until Pat McAfee gets on my nerves (so maybe 5, 10 minutes.) Hit the shower (today I added a haircut and a shave), then I go out and do my grocery shopping. 1 2
mcpapa Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Yard sales, EPL, golf. Run through the BGP football forum in the search for neer-do-wells. 1
Breds82 Posted October 5 Posted October 5 If I don’t go into work, it’s read through BGP, go to UDF get a fountain drink (Diet Coke), turn on EPL and read other websites. Then I start commenting on BGP then finally get going around the house while getting TVs on in various rooms for college football. 1

TrendingNorth Posted October 5 Posted October 5 At the football field loving and enjoying the little kids in our community! 4
Country Posted October 5 Posted October 5 (edited) Meet with 10-12 former players, coaching buddies and just some fans rehashing Friday night results. Not all are Rebs or Ads so it gets a little salty, but mostly fun, food and coffee. As you can imagine UK is a hot topic right now. Thanks to McDonalds for turning a deaf ear and having a sense of humor. Edited October 5 by theguru 2 1
Rebel Posted October 5 Posted October 5 I usually start my Saturday mornings with a 10 mile run. Shower and then get on BGP and read what all happened around the state in KHSAA football the night before. 1 1

REALSPORT Posted October 6 Posted October 6 When my kids were younger, Saturday mornings were usually spent at a soccer field. Next year, I will come full circle when my first grandson starts playing. No coaching for me this time. I want a chair, a beverage, and a smile. Can't wait. 1
