I think the addition of Brady in the backfield will be big for that offense that often struggled on the ground. Brady rushed for 1470 yards in only 9 games last season for Madison Central compared to the 1633 combined yards that LCA had in 14 games.

In Track & Field they have the champions per event and then in terms on total points scored there is a Boys Team State Champion and a Girls Team State Champion and then I think there might be an overall Team State Champion.

I think this year's Douglass team will be a slight step down from Last year's team who actually finished #48 on MaxPreps football rankings.

And you'd also have to add in the fact that Cortez is the only threat on his offense making it easy for you to focus your defense on him, which you can't necessarily do for Montavin who has a much better supporting cast on offense.

He had good numbers this past season with 4000 all purpose yards, 64% completion, 42 TDs to 15 ints which is a little high imo. But I think what may have detered him from going to Alabama and some of the other elite schools was the QBs who had recently committed to those schools, like for instance just based off of the 2024 QB rankings, Jadyn Davis the #2 ranked QB is committed to Michigan, Julian Sayin the #4 ranked QB is committed to Bama, Luke Kromenhook the #8 ranked QB is committed to Florida State, and Jake Merklinger the #10 ranked QB is committed to Tennessee, also for what it's worth the #2 ranked QB from class of 2023 (reclassed to 22) is also at Tennessee So when you look at his Top 5 Kentucky and Penn State were the only schools who didn't already have a highly ranked QB already committed. And if u expand that to his top 10 only Kentucky, Penn State, TCU, and Miami didn't have a top ranked QB committed in class of 23 and 24. And lastly If you were to also include class of 22 that would also remove Penn State and Miami since the #1 ranked QB who had a perfect rating on 24/7 is currently at Penn State and the the 16th ranked QB from that class also a 4 star is currently at Miami. So in terms of path of least resistance Kentucky and TCU were his best options.

Bryan Stations 41 points were the most given up all year by BE and it took their best offensive showing all season to overcome that. If Males defense can hold BE to around 24 or less points like in their last meeting then I believe they'll win. The Station RB had 26 carries for 182 and 3 TD's, Swinny for Male could easily replicate those numbers. But on the defensive side, Male is gonna have to do a better job of stopping the run as both the Rb and Qb had big rushing games in that game earlier in the season. BE definitely inoressed me with their speed and size. On a side note I would've loved to see BE and Station swap their regional championship opponents just to see if BE could've possibly blown out Trinity, just to see the kind of uproar that would've ensued in St. Matthews afterwards.?

This isn't related to the game but I noticed that both Male and Bowling Green both have "H" as their logo at midfield why is that? As it pertains to male I played there a few years ago and was told that they have the "H" because Manuel has the "M" on their field and that Manuel won a rivalry game a long time ago which gave them the right to the "M". But I wasn't sure on how accurate that was. Does anyone know the story behind the "H" at midfield for both?
