Avery is their workhorse back and Montavin also gets a decent amount of carries. Where does Brown fit into the equation? He seems like he might be a better back than Avery but Avery is a senior if I'm not mistaken and has been really good for Boyle. Are they gonna move Brown into the starting job wants he becomes eligible?Are they gonna split carries? And if they do will Montavin see a decrease in carries as well, since he only had 96 carries last year, or end up playing just wr?

Right I haven't seen them get beat down this bad since their season opener in 2017 when they lost 36-0 to Danville. But the 34-7 loss to Boyle a few years ago comes close.

I wonder how much Lafayette has improved, last year they only had one game where they score more than 1 TD, and in that game they lost 27-47. But they have now won their last 2 scrimmages 55-0 and 42-0. Things might finally be turning up for them after a really rough stretch over the last few years.

I think it'll be closer to what it was last year, Douglas is having to replace their 3 leading rushers and their 4 leading receivers.

I wonder if some of these scrimmage opponents of the affected Louisville schools, would be willing to reschedule the scrimmages from Friday to Saturday. Or would the schools not want to give up an extra day of rest as they prepare to start their seasons next Friday.

Douglas's offense scored on the first play, and then defense proceeded to smother Oldham's offense on their opening drive, Douglas's coaches realized that this wasn't helping the varsity and soon took out the starters and just played 2nd and 3rd stringers for the rest of the scrimmage. That's odd considering Kalen and Jaylen (81) both practiced for station yesterday and also Bryce (23) might be heading to station as well.

He's definitely upgrading in terms of teams, he's joining a state contender, it'll be interesting to see how many carries he gets since that school already has a very good senior RB.

What's your reasoning? (Generally curious.)
