Trinity wins. But I’m not convinced Trinity is all that. They’ve taken some lumps this year.

Newport wins the game. Walton doesn’t have any good wins this year.

Forever known as the “announcer bowl”. The night the announcers embarrassed Woodford County and any other county it borders and lost their announcing jobs. Can you imagine being the assignor and getting an angry text from a loose cannon announcer while the game is still going? Did anyone see any large Turvis or Yeti tumblers in the booth?

Tried to watch with the sound on. But the announcers whining and crying every play is unbearable. Hey announcers, your team just isn’t that good.

Beechwood 35-14

The offensive coordinator has no idea what to take. And first down is 2 yards up the middle to #3 about every series. Not hard to predict. If 2nd down is incomplete or another yard up the middle, they’re struggling to get a first down. Keep the defense off balance. And involve the best player on the team in every way possible. It’s no secret who that player is.

Sloppy game. Questionable play calling by Highlands all night. Long halftime. Perfect weather, but by the 3rd quarter, I wished I was watching from a comfortable couch. How many touches did Noon have? Not near enough. When Highlands gets to the playoffs and finally plays a good team, Noon and Hosea need to be the guys getting the most opportunities. On a positive note, the run defense and pass rush looked great.

Well I guess you can’t fire him when you have to answer to his mom.

Congratulations on the freshmen win. Maybe this Ryle freshmen class can bring the school’s first ever successful varsity season? By successful, I mean championship.

Ryle might be good. But Highlands is getting progressively worse.

If the QB gets the pass off clean it’s an easy pick 6. #20 is waiting for it.

Covcath has had 1 good play this game. After the 3rd Highlands turnover, they completed the TD pass. The only real positive for Covcath so far.
