We treat football differently at every level besides high school. Youth league not every team makes the playoffs. Middle school not every team makes the playoffs. College and pro not every team makes the playoffs. Why is high school the only exception? As far as the other sports college does end of season conference tournaments so let’s leave that alone and fix football.

4-6 at the least. I understand getting off to a bad start or having a tough distance. But if you can’t get 4 wins why should you have a chance to compete? You’ve had 10 games to compete and win. OR just make it like college. They have 12 games and have to win at least 6 (.500) to be bowl eligible.

I wouldn’t call it “earning” a playoff spot. They beat Boone. But I get what you mean. Conner finished 2-9 beating Boone County by 3 and Scott by 1. Head coach Dave Trosper currently sits 98-90 in his time at Conner.

This here is a great idea. It’s similar to Ohio. And to be honest I wouldn’t mind seeing neutral sites come the 3rd round.

North Laurel at Collins should be another good one.

2A Newport at Walton Verona. That should be a good game. Newport hasn’t had the best year, but they are a solid little scrappy team that will make the Bearcats have to earn a win. Best of luck to these teams. I have no clue on who to pick for this one.
