South Oldham is up 21-10 at halftime. Tates Creek offense looks good so I think this could get interesting.

I have a hard time with Owensboro over Scott County.

I think this is a sneaky good game. Admittedly I don’t know much about the two programs but I saw a few clips of Prestonsburg in their last game and they looked big and extremely physical. Will definitely check in on this one Friday night.

5A South Oldham comes into the game 2-0 after an easy 42-13 win over 6A Eastern. 6A Tates Creek enters 1-1 coming off a 44-23 loss to 4A power Ashland Blazer. Dragons will need to clean up the execution to win this game after having 3 turnovers in the 1st half against Eastern. Tates Creek has shown the ability to put up points but struggles defensively. This is the 1st meeting in history for these two teams. I think this game has serious high scoring potential. I like South Oldham in a shootout 42-35.

I think St X’s “dudes” are better than Male’s dudes. I like X 35-14.

Running clock much like the previous editions.

Both of these teams have played extremely weak schedules thus far. Coach Reed has historically had North Oldham’s number. I think North Oldham is more talented but I like the Colonels’ triple option system to get them the win here. 28-27.

Congrats to Danville. Do the Ads have a soccer team? When I was in school we always recruited a member of the soccer team to come out and kick.

I was very wrong. South Warren was more disciplined, executed better, and just wanted it more. Congrats to them they have a great team.

From what I saw in this game. Owensboro’s offensive line is terrible. No way around it. CAL was without their 5 star DL and still had their way up front.

42-13 is your final. Dragons extremely sloppy but get the job done. Will need to clean some things up next week vs Tates Creek.

Dragons score again through the air. Eastern has been loading the box and South Oldham is finding success through the air. 2pt good to make 14-3.

One bright spot is the emergence of Evan Hale for South Oldham. With a few defensive starters out with injury he has had to play both sides and his presence has been immediately felt. Good size at 6’3 225lb tight end/defensive end.

6-3 Dragons mid way through the 2nd. Eastern made a 45 yard field goal at the end of the 1Q after a 3rd South Oldham turnover. Dragons are playing incredibly sloppy and the execution must improve.

Haskins was at South Oldham for middle school. Tremendous athlete. Wish him best of luck at T and I think he will do well there.

Dragons (1-0) make the short trip to Middletown to take on Eastern (0-1). South Oldham is coming off a 26-0 win against 6A Meade County in which they were dominant defensively, with two defensive touchdowns. Eastern is coming off a heartbreaking loss to fellow Louisville school Valley 28-30. I look for South Oldham to have more success offensively and win this one 42-7.

They received a bit of luck with transfers this offseason.

This is a great game between two great teams.

OC O line looks big. I thought there would be a discrepancy between the size of these teams but looks even to me.
