Dragons (1-0) make the short trip to Middletown to take on Eastern (0-1). South Oldham is coming off a 26-0 win against 6A Meade County in which they were dominant defensively, with two defensive touchdowns. Eastern is coming off a heartbreaking loss to fellow Louisville school Valley 28-30. I look for South Oldham to have more success offensively and win this one 42-7.

South wins big.

I also believe South wins big. In the last game, however, the defense scored two of the TD’s. What I’m hoping to see is South open up the offense and show me a little more on that side of the ball. They have good athleticism on the offense—let’s see what they can do!

The Eagles are in for a very long season. Very long. The Dragons roll this week.

South names the score in this one.

South bring as many Freshmen as you can as they can play a lot in this game.

All South Oldham!

0-0 2:11 left in 1Q. Dragons with two fumbles.

6-3 Dragons mid way through the 2nd. Eastern made a 45 yard field goal at the end of the 1Q after a 3rd South Oldham turnover. Dragons are playing incredibly sloppy and the execution must improve.

One bright spot is the emergence of Evan Hale for South Oldham. With a few defensive starters out with injury he has had to play both sides and his presence has been immediately felt. Good size at 6’3 225lb tight end/defensive end.

Dragons score again through the air. Eastern has been loading the box and South Oldham is finding success through the air. 2pt good to make 14-3.

14-6 South Oldham at the half. Eastern has a really good field goal kicker!

Dragons up 21-6 8 min left in 3Q.

Dragons again this time via the triple option. 28-6 2:00 left 2Q.
