3A CAL comes into the game 2-0, with wins over Pikeville (45-7) and Owensboro (35-0). 

2A LCA comes into the game 1-1 after a close loss to 4A Boyle County (21-28). Their win is over 6A North Hardin (41-21).  

Who comes out ahead, and what do you predict the score to be?

    That is an absolute gauntlet of a schedule for LCA. Then the next week they are at Franklin County.

    CAL is right there with them on the scheduling. CAL travels to Ryle the week after this LCA game.

    CAL wins this game. CAL might be the second best team in the State behind Trinity.

    CAL 27-14.

    This is the 17th meeting between the 2 teams.  LCA holds a 10-6 advantage in the series & has won the last 2 and won 3 of the last 4 meetings.  LCA always plays CAL tough & I suspect this will be no different.  I do believe CAL wins this one, but it will be close.  I’ll go with a CAL win by 7.

    I think CAL takes this one 35-21. Too much team speed.

    Yes, they do.  I literally sit right next to them in the press box & they do an excellent job gathering their research beforehand in addition to calling the game.
