  1. Solid win to hopefully build some momentum for the dragons.
  2. The rebels also return their entire starting offensive line.
  3. I’d expect a better year for this Atherton team. They return their quarterback QuaShawn Johnson who was only a freshman and threw for over 550 yards. They also return their third leading leading rusher and second leading receiver in Demetrius Dunlap. Chance Thompson also returns in the receiving core grabbing over 100 yards in 2020 season. Their second and third leading tacklers return in Robert Edwards and Johnathan Bennem. Erion Sanders Strain should lead the defensive line. Sanders Strain didn’t get much of a chance to play his junior season however he put up a productive season as a sophomore. I’m intrigued by the possibility that RB and LB Jymarrie Johnson returns to the team for the 2021 season. Johnson missed his entire junior season due to injury. He ran for over 47 yards a game as a sophomore and looked to be a very promising player.
  4. I would expect Evangel Christian to be a serious contender in the All A Classic now.
  5. Mabry transferred from Spencer county to Jeffersontown prior to this season. He then transferred again to Evangel Christian.
  6. I’m not usually one to blame the refs. But wow some clear bad calls preventing the dragons from getting back in the game.
  7. This reffing crew seems to love blowing their whistles quite a bit.
  8. I expect upcoming juniors DB Amare Townsend and DL Joshua Johnson to be solid players on the defense.
  9. Both these teams have the pieces to compete for a state championship this season. Dominant, rim protecting big (Bar, Kalle). A talented guard who can control the offense (Sisk, Perry). It really comes down to the production from the role players which in this case Tilford had a big game which really propelled Ballard to the win.
  10. I believe Mabry has enrolled at Evangel Christian. Shouldn’t be eligible until next season however.
  11. I’ve heard Coach Scroggins has passed. Very unfortunate for a great guy. Left a huge impact in high school football.
  12. Looks like Hawley is in fact warming up and set to play. No Roberts though.
  13. I’m intrigued by the matchup of Mudd and Michel. Both tall and athletic with perimeter skills.
  14. A bit surprising to me considering OC returns quite a bit this year and is expected to have a good year. I may be wrong but I believe Coach Fox coached at Trinity before coming to OC.
  15. The 9/24 game has been filled with Boyle County.
  16. I think it will be tough for Collins to overcome Oldham County’s size. I like OC by 10 maybe more.
  17. I would say it’s probably pretty tough to beat Desales when you aren’t hitting shots with Sekou Kalle defending the paint.
  18. Per the athletic department: North Oldham High School is excited to announce Jamie Brown as the new head football coach for the Mustangs.
