That would mean she would beat the Pandas and presumably go against Highlands (assuming you beat Dixie tonight) in the final... So would you rather see her put up 3 more against you or play NDA in the finals?

High expectations for this game. Electric atmosphere! Definitely one to see in person. Highlands is going to be a tough stop for CCH with their quick drops and accurate passes with Benke. Yes they got whooped by BG but when they put Benke in at QB they scored twice and were starting to put it together. They are a different team with him at QB on offense. That being said they seem to have a lot of things to exploit on D and I think CCH will do just that. A healthy line of scrimmage for CCH stops the run and creates all sort of options for the Colonels with the ball. I think the birds will score in the air a few times but adjustments will win this one. I'm going with CCH at home in a shootout 35-21.

Watched this because of the Male game last week. Only reason I am posting this is to officially digress on how disappointed I am with Elder. Elder was winning the whole game. RHS made a come back but fell a little short. Elder coaches not representative of good Catholic football. Panthers parade off field beating chest not willing to shake hands after a great game. Shame on Elder. Per family member, Fans were jerks after game as well. Did not expect the disrespect. You won. Good job. Have some class. IMO they did not represent themselves as a class team but really a bunch of jerks. Bummer to hear. Thought they were better than that.

Pandas score 3 in the first half and 1 in the second to win the 35the District. All the goals were scored by Sophomores: Megan McGraw, Riley Robertson, Maya Lawrie and Scarlet Cogswell Congrats to Ellie Greenwell who was named MVP for the District Tourney.

Roncalli just ran the ball down their throat. That was impressive!

And to let some injuries heal...

Frank Will you be doing a post season summary thread? I love reading your takes about the NKY lady soccer programs and it seems like a lot has happened unreported over the last 2 weeks. Hope to read your thoughts soon.

They have to stay healthy. There is a lot of football left. But they are really fun to watch.

Colonels are really starting to gel on the LOS on both sides of the ball. They are for the most part healthy and will take Cooper seriously. Colonels 28-10.

Elder Pikeville Ryle Lex Cath Bardstown

Sheesh...I just said Aiden Jones plays as hungry and mean as ...well I won't mention his name again but MM. My bad, I did not mean to insinuate that he was the same player. How about I just say he is not someone that Cash wants to meet head on...

This is going to be a great game! Both teams have excellent coaching staffs so that is a wash... While making my pick I wanted to list out some pros for both teams: Beechwood: 1. Mitchell Berger does it all. Runs down hill and is as solid as John Riggins. PATs, Punts, Linebacking like Mike Singleterry. For playing the whole game it seems he also has incredible stamina. If there ever was a Mr Football he is it. 2. 27 Game Win Streak. Hard to break those. 3. More experience. Some of these guys are in their 5th year and have been playing since they were freshman. That's way more experience then all the players for CCH. Pair that with a lot of tournament runs and you are breaking high school records for the amount of minutes played in a varsity game. 4. Waddell - Kids a beast on both sides of the ball. Of course there is a rumor that he got hurt last game and won't be playing Friday. If that is the case that is big for CCH. CCH 1. IMO has played a tougher schedule YTD and is getting better each week. In many cases this is the first year of Varsity football and kids are still adjusting to the speed of the game. Coaches are putting kids in the right position and learning from mistakes. They have beat 2 really good programs, 1 upcoming program and got humbled by Elder who beats any team in NKY this year. 2. No Drama. They seem to have good senior leadership, none of their kids have been in the news in trouble with the law, and they don't have to worry about all the re-classification stuff because they were not allowed. 3. No Pressure. They are the underdog. They can just go out there and have fun and play in front of an awesome crowd. 4. Aiden Jones - Playmaker. Not as fast as Michael Mayer but every bit as strong and angry on the football field. He is also fun to watch on defense. It is gonna be a close, hard fought battle. Because of the home field advantage, I'm going to pick the Underdog CCH 12-9. Berger hits all three Field Goals. CCH scores twice, one of them a special teams return, but misses both PATs. Pace of game will be super quick due to amount of running. Go Colonels!

I'm taking Ryle 14-10 in a very physical game.

Colonels play hard on the road and overcome a tough team and fight through some tough calls against them. They showed some grit and determination and never gave up. Sorry Teeroy! The Colonels have proved you wrong twice. I’m a fan of Lex Cath. I hope they go far this season.

I thought the O-Line did fine. We were moving the ball most of the night. I’m leaning towards the QB is holding the ball too long. Yes Pikeville made some nice defensive plays but you are going to see that in every game. Great win boys! Let’s continue to prove Teeroy wrong with another win over a “top 30” team next week.

IMO St Henry is just as good as Dixie and Cov Cath. Closely followed by Ryle/Highlands so mine looks like 1.Conner 2 Beechwood 3- cch dh sh 4 ryle-hhs 6 NCC Conner vs BHS will be a great game.
