    That is as big an upset as I can recall in NKY for some time. Would love to hear details on this one.

    Senior starting catcher Brennan Seiter went to the mound from behind the plate to pitch the last 4 holding Conner to 2 hits and 1 run.

    It was 8 innings.  Went into the top of the 8th tied 4 4…

    Monster upset that I don't think anyone other than the New Cath team saw happening. A great win for the NCC baseball program. Congrats to the Breds coaches & players!

    This is a great win for NCC! I'm kind of surprised though that every thinks this is a monster upset. Yes, I expected Conner to win. But I felt like NCC had a chance. NCC has played a few ugly games this year, but they've beaten Highlands, St Henry, Cov Cath and played tight games with Dixie (although the second Dixie game was a blowout), and only lost 6-1 to Conner. In this region, ANY team can lose in the first round as every team has at least one and probably 2 quality arms.

    Anyone got details on the game? How did the Breds score 3 in the extra frame? I would love to hear who came up clutch for them.  

    3 runs on zero hits, 3 errors and a walk. Not pretty.

    If the 9th region was seeded, Conner would probably be the #1 seed and NCC would be either the #7 or 8 seed.
