Watched this because of the Male game last week. Only reason I am posting this is to officially digress on how disappointed I am with Elder. Elder was winning the whole game. RHS made a come back but fell a little short. Elder coaches not representative of good Catholic football. Panthers parade off field beating chest not willing to shake hands after a great game. Shame on Elder. Per family member, Fans were jerks after game as well. Did not expect the disrespect. You won. Good job. Have some class. IMO they did not represent themselves as a class team but really a bunch of jerks.  Bummer to hear. Thought they were better than that.

Sleep well. Unless you were there to experience or defend the actions of team or fans after I say keep opinions to the game that you saw on TV. To laugh is offensive.  

Not saying any of it is right but Roncalli had a big time cheap shot on the Elder QB at the end of the game. I don’t think the Elder coaches and players appreciated that. 

To not participate in a post game hand shake line was most likely mutual from both head coaches. Doug Ramsey and the Roncalli coach did shake hands and speak while the Elder team exited the field first. Antics on the last play of the game resulted in play to continue after the final whistle. Tempers were elevated and players from both sides were going back and forth shouting. This type of incident at all levels will result with no hand shakes, and exiting the field immediately for the visiting team. The Elder community is people of great character, just like players in competitive sports fans love talking trash too. Fans that traveled for Elder was majority parents and players immediate family. Parents, do what for there kids? Protect them. Roncalli football twitter page did post a video of elder players leaving the field taunting and talking trash to the home fans. This tweet was deleted shortly after. Roncalli received there first lost of the season on senior night, very emotional for high school kids.
