I think most teams that play Scott County will have the ball ran down their throat considering running the ball is 99.9 percent of their offense. Need new material, referencing that loss is getting old.

Birds held one of the most potent offenses in the state to half of their normal output. I like HHS in this one by 2 scores.

Should have an opportunity to rest their starters early, need the break after last week.

That looks like a meat grinder!

Watching the game it was not disguised at all a LB was coming every play you could see them timing the snap. Different gaps but it was almost every play.

Defense, defense, defense!

Using him sparingly would be enough to keep defenses honest and possibly open more holes. I know if I saw him check into a game I would key on him. Just another very good tool to be utilized.

With the success that CovCath and Bishop Brossart are having, parents and kids have more choices if they want to play football for a good program and still get the Catholic education.

Maybe he was referring to a 50 game win steak that had against them? Possible I guess.

HHS defensive backs have a nose for the ball. If memory serves they have 2+ interceptions in each of their wins. If that keeps up this week I like the Birds odds. Take LexCath’s game comfort zone away.

In my opinion, that list would be limited to teams that have beat Trinity or teams that have beat a team that beat Trinity. So that leaves SC and Male. The rest have to earn it in my book and not ride the coattails of the teams that have stepped up to the challenge.

Sort of off topic but kid has the “coolest quarterback name”.

Their schedule has always been challenging. Schedule was in place before they started playing at this level. If it continues you hope to see some changes. But BW might surprise them, you never know. They do have a young quarterback who has been pretty flawless up to this point. Maybe this is the week he makes a few mistakes.

Defense will definitely be tested this week. LexCath is putting up career numbers every outing.

I think BW is capable of giving CovCath the most competitive first half of football so far. Beyond that I think it gets ugly.

Every program will have down years roll through from time to time. This is still Trinity (Godzilla) and I would not want to be the first team they play once they get thier act together whether that is this year or next...you know for certain it is coming.

Bring in any quarterback coach you want but when the defensive line is in your face 1 second after the snap it won’t matter. The line play is where HHS shined last night. Even rushing 2 on obvious passing downs they were in the backfield.
