I saw some wailing and gnashing of teeth about not Trinity being ranked lower in the BGP 6A rankings.

 

Obviously Male gets ranked higher since they beat Trinity. Scott County makes perfect sense too, since they beat Cincinnati Moeller and Trinity lost to Moeller.

 

I'd like to hear some justified arguments for any other teams that people on here think should be ranked above Trinity.

In my opinion, that list would be limited to teams that have beat Trinity or teams that have beat a team that beat Trinity. So that leaves SC and Male. The rest have to earn it in my book and not ride the coattails of the teams that have stepped up to the challenge.

I completely agree with you.

Male and Scott County. While it is possible that Douglass, X, and Butler are better than Trinity, in my opinion none of the them have done enough to prove they are better than Trinity.

Only one besides Male and Scott County would be Frederick Douglass. Although, I’m not sure Frederick Douglass could beat them, especially if Trinity gets some of their injured players back.

Male and Scott County are the only ones you can put ahead of them. They've earned it.

Meh... this logic is as flawed as the AP voters who rank teams highly that are 5-0 that haven't beat anyone with a pulse.

 

If Trinity (0-4) played North Hardin (3-1) would you expect North Hardin to be the favorite?

Quality opponents don't matter to some people/programs. Inflated win total > winning when it matters for those folks.
