Highlands 40 Ryle 3 (Take 2)

Featured Replies

My initial take on this game. At some point Ryle must go under Center. It’s okay to do! Even the NFL goes under Center! If Ryle went under Center, it was while I walked several Hundred yards to the School to use the Bathroom since the Field facilities had a Sewer issue....Ryle was very Undisciplined. I’m not use to seeeing that!

I agree, I feel like the football program is at an all time low.

I am not trying to place any blame on anyone, just making an observation.

Just can’t figure out how Ryle’s Junior Class as good as they were 2 seasons ago can be that Bad. That was not Ryle like last night nor today during the JV game. Just bad Football being played in Union right now.

Agree...But then again Highlands Defense is considerably better than it has been the last couple of years. So maybe some Credit should be given there. I know they have it from me.

Was Ryle's D1 lineman playing last night? Ryle qb was running for his life every time he passed.

Didn’t realize Ryle had a DI Lineman. Where’s he going?

Western Michigan I believe.

Neither team was very disciplined, I was surprised that players didn’t get ejected after throwing punches.

Just an outside observation; at some point the fingers have to stop being pointed at the players and maybe pointed at the coaching. Lack of discipline, looking unprepared and lack of adjustment during gameplay ultimately reflects on the coaching staff, and particularly on the head coach.

To me it looks like Ryle will struggle to beat Cooper, SK or Campbell. Ryle was such a great team the past two years. This seems like an out of nowhere decline. I guess it happens, Highlands has had some recent ups and downs.

Highlands is a lot better than the past two years. Although, the lopsided outcome is a combination of Highlands being better and Ryle being worse.

He can’t block all the D lineman, even if he is D1.

All the linemen where getting beat.
