Neither team was very disciplined, I was surprised that players didn’t get ejected after throwing punches.

 

Totally agree on both teams being undisciplined....Can’t speak for Ryle. Highlands will fix their Dicipline. You can bet on that! If Highlands want to be a Championship ran program like it once was, dicipline wont be a factor.....JMO!

To me it looks like Ryle will struggle to beat Cooper, SK or Campbell. Ryle was such a great team the past two years. This seems like an out of nowhere decline. I guess it happens, Highlands has had some recent ups and downs.

 

Highlands is a lot better than the past two years. Although, the lopsided outcome is a combination of Highlands being better and Ryle being worse.

Ryle is obviously down this year but it happens to all programs. Trinity, St X, Danville, Highlands the past 3 yearss it’s all a cycle.

Because people in the stands see things a lot different then what people on the field see.

I was at a wedding on Friday, dodging the rain and keeping up with HHS/Ryle on BGP. I wasn't terribly surprised at the outcome, although I did expect at least a TD from Ryle. Not the Highlands of 2008-14, but definitely not the team of 2016 either.

Ryle just seems out of sync, they aren’t as good as they were to start the season and look a bit lost on offense. They had a pretty good second half at LexCath and a so-so game against BC but the wheels seemed to fall off during the Highlands game.

Is it just a coincidence that whoever Highlands beats is labeled as terrible the following week? Now I don't think that Highlands is all world and that they've beaten the best teams in the state or anything. It just seems like there is a re-occurring trend. If the 'Birds get a win on a team, they are down starting that week, but not the week before. I guess it could be just a coincidence.

Don’t be so defensive, I didn’t say Highlands wasn’t good. They are one of the top teams in NKY this year and should beat everyone except CovCath.
