Yes that’s the goal and that even means Simon Kenton. This year’s Highlands team is considerably better and they were beating the 2017 version of Marksberry’s “Machine” by 2 scores with less than 5 mins to go in the game before letting it slip away. Being what is planned for Sept 21st in Ft Thomas vs Simon Kenton, I’m giving the Birds the early Nod! I don’t normally do that but this game is like a few others that are critical for Highlands success. Highlands may not win them all but we sure as heck think we can. That’s half the Battle!

It was clear Ryle is struggling this year.

Don’t be so defensive, I didn’t say Highlands wasn’t good. They are one of the top teams in NKY this year and should beat everyone except CovCath.

 

Not being defensive, just noticed a trend about the way people talked about teams Highlands beat before and after. Cooper, Campbell and Ryle are not powerhouses but the negativity flowed hard after HHS losses. I was really wondering if it was a coincidence or not, not being sarcastic.

I am high on the ‘Birds defense. Lex Cath has scored a lot of points. Judging by scores vs Ryle it should be competitive. It will be interesting how that one plays out in Lexington. If they don’t have a big brutal O Line I like the ‘Birds by 10.

Yeah, they haven’t faced a great passing QB yet. Hopefully they can get to him.
