Cam Patterson at Scott

The talent has been there except at the qb position at least last year. I believe we see a better team this year. I also think alot of the players never come off the field. The program is fine and will always be highschool football Royalty. My opinion is that dropping to 4a would be better. Why not play the class you're in?

I'm thinking Buten goes off this week.Huddy South and Schwalbach will make it a long night for Hicks.

Jason Noe had 2 nice interceptions. Mason South had the first interception to change the momentum and set up for a touchdown. Buten is getting into the groove. The boys are looking forward to this next game.

Reed Lanter is the best Qb in the state IMO.

After watching Boyle and Covcath play, I think Boyle would beat Covcath pretty easy. I also think Boyle's Qb is 1 of , if not the best in the state.

I totally agree. I'm not sure what the big stink is about. Both Boyle County and Knoxville Catholic are very good teams. I don't think Highlands is done by any means.

Highlands will always be highschool football Royalty. Covcath is only a rivalry because Highlands allow them to be just that. After finishing 10-3 last year fans, coaches and players were disappointed. Most schools would celebrate a season like that. This team is capable of playing on Kroger field. I do believe that a handful of kids should go both ways and that would help them greatly. They have this week to get things together. Hopefully they do just that.

I've been thinking that same thing all year. You could drive a semi through that hole with Schwalbach and South blocking not to mention they are both good ball handlers.

This Highlands team has the talent. This is embarrassing.

Boyle is well coached with some great athletes, but looking at their schedule they really haven't played anyone.

Joe Buten, is probably the best running back Highlands has seen since Justin Frisk. He's a natural and with all but 1 of the offense line returning . I see him having 1000 plus yards.

Huddleston at Highlands imo one of the best.

If Highlands jumps up fast. A running clock is not out of the question.

Covcath had a 10 yr losing streak to the birds, enough said! Yea CovCath has had a couple good years. Nothing like the tradition of the 2nd winningest program in the nation though. This year may be Cov Caths last chance for awhile , then again this Highlands team may surprise the Colonels this year.

The Birds have the talent, the d is tougher this year than recent years. I agree though, those receivers need to start making those catches. Oh and those defensive backs could stand to be a little more aggressive. All in all though I think they look good thus far.

Highlands defense on this team is crazy good they haven't had a team score on them yet! Bryson and South are men out there.

I would've loved to see Highlands come out after half-time. They have not turned it on until the 3rd quarter in there first 2 games.
