Was DeSales able to find a replacement?

I guess Froshmore teams will become more prevalent in the future.

There are a few changes that the KHSAA has implemented for this year that make no sense, such as the HC only coming out for the coin toss without captains. But the 60 player limit is the most ridiculous. I thought HS sports were for the kids? It’s an honor to be picked as a captain and walk out for the coin toss representing your school.

Maybe Butler since their game with Central Hardin has been cancelled because of COVID. Or maybe Ballard.

Just a guess but I would say teams are reluctant to travel to Louisville.

Game has been rescheduled to Sat with a 3:00 kickoff at Butler.

This game has more “updates“ before the game is even played.

Ballard could have scheduled STX on Oct 2 back when the JCPS system announced games could be played starting on Sept 18. Now the X-T game has been moved to the 2nd and Ballard is out of luck.

Reschedule any varsity football games involving JCPS schools until Sat. morning. Start them at 10:00

I look for Trinity to shutout StX, with a running clock early in the 3rd quarter. Beatty will show no mercy, which may very well be his last game against their rival. X could very easily win just 1 game in this shortened season.

Ballard may not beat Trinity but Trinity will know they were in a game. Very physical with great athletes.

Not to be picky but there are several mistakes in regards to what day of the week the game was played on.

Is Sivori still on the team? I didn’t see his name on the varsity roster on the STX website.

I didn’t say I was worried about the kicker who missed. I was just inquiring about the sophomore kicker who has a high national ranking.

I see where STX missed a FG early in the game. I thought STX had a Soph PK who is considered the #1 kicker in the class of 2023. Was that him who missed the FG?

I agree with everything you guys are saying. Just appears to be natural in-state rivalries. Always like to see good competitive games between schools that have a lot in common.

Would like to see CovCath play STX or Trinity at some level every year. A home & home FR/JV doubleheader would create a lot of interest. I can’t understand why Moeller & Cincy STX can travel to Louisville but CovCath doesn’t.

I would think that the JV team will be playing a few of the Froshmore teams that are on the FR schedule. I don’t think the KHSAA will allow a school to play 10 games at any level.

You would think this would be an easy fix. But if it happened Ballard would be playing STX & Trinity in back to back games. I don’t think anybody wants to do that.
