Who is in their district and will they make the playoffs?

In Jefferson Co years back, playoff games would be held at the Fairgrounds Stadium. A doubleheader on both Friday and Saturday nights. Granted more teams make the playoffs today as opposed to 30-40 years ago, but teams got excited to play on the turf at the fairgrounds even though it was like playing on asphalt. Other than STX, Trinity and CAL, no one else in JC has turf. By the time the later playoff games are played the fields in JC are terrible. It would be nice to bring that concept of doubleheaders back and played on a field with turf. Manual Stadium is the perfect size but as previously mentioned parking is a problem. Just this week the Metro Louisville government proposed building a track & field facility just west of downtown. JC Public Schools should consider joining this venture to build a football/soccer facility at this complex with a turf field.

It's a no win situation when an official puts himself in a situation where he works a game for any school that he has an affiliation with.

Athletically, kids (and parents) are tired of going to STX or Trinity, being on the team, but never getting to play even in blowouts. By going to DeSales kids see an opportunity for playing time instead of being a practice tackling dummy.
