No not compared to the Nike sparq combine where they had 1200 plus. From what I understand, the numbers were up from last year, and they shut off registration after a certain point. So it appears that they wanted to keep the number limited. That list is only the O Lineman. They had as many D Lineman as well. I think overall there were close to 400 kids.

They sent the results to the players/parents, but for only their primary position. I have the Oline results, but I'm not not that computer savvy to figure out how to post them. I'll try to figure a way to post the Oline results for you.

I would agree with you. Thank you for the compliment on Parker. In my opinion, $60 is not a lot of $$ for the experience. Although I am happy with his effort, I realized at 6' 5" and 260 lbs, he is still undersized. Parker realized that as well. At 16 he has the time add size. What else was he gonna do on a day off of high school?? Play Xbox. $60 was well worth it : )

Johnny Miemen I believe intended to sign at Pikeville, but apparently did not. Not sure where he will end up. Whereever he does, he will do well. Heck of a LB.

Can't disagree with anything you said. Best player from Ryle has to be Dollman 6' 10 back in 2003, solid career at X, pretty successful in Europe. Think he was league MVP a few years ago.

^^ in the stats line above. Ryle had 7 kids score. Wonder if that will be the rotation going forward? Cheese at 1, Owens at 1 or 2, Turner at 2 or 3, O'hara at 2 or 3, Kirschler at 5, Legg at 3 or 4, Webster at 4 or 5, or even 3. Jared can stroke it from behind the arc as well.

From what I know, Rankin (9th grader) has started a handful of V games this season. Jack Driscoll was out of a number of games due to appendicitis (sp?) Rankin filled in for him. I'm sure he started both JV and Varsity games for all of those games. My son played for Ryle last year as a Freshman and started a 2 Varsity games while starting JV as well. Coach Mac is not afraid to use his young guys.

Heard they pulled out the boxing gloves at halftime. Parents fighting during halftime is something of that sort. Between football and Bball, SK can start charging pay per view : )

Kunkel has always been fun to watch. Since he was little. Not just a 3 pt shooter. The kid has serious handles, drives to the rack. And sure can stroke it.

But I'll bet Morgan would gladly trade an all state list for an offer. From what I hear, recruiters are loving this kid.

Today at ASAP he was runnning sprint relays. 10, 100 yard sprints. The kid gets after it. He was stride for stride with Jake Chisholm (Ryle RB / Track) His conditioning is strong, very disciplined. What I noticed and impressed me was that he really concentrates on his breathing during sprints. Breathing in through his nose and breathing out through his mouth every 4-5 steps or so. May not sound like a big deal, but it tells me he is really committed to his conditioning. Work ethic is solid.

Forgive my geography. But do you consider Scott Co, Central KY ?? If so, where does Josh Davis stack up for next year. He's all over social media taking recruiting trips here and there all season. He's a heck of a player and athlete. Just wondering how he stacks up with the rest of the QBs in the area. He's a good kid.

This would surprise me. He's been working out with my son and Chase Ross at ASAP and also at Ryle working with his WRs. He's talking about next season this, and next season that. He is a good kid, straight shooter, so any rhetoric coming from his indicates that he is staying. He is a leader on this team, he seems quite happy. Very humble in regards to his success and opportunities. Impressive kid.

Congrats to you and CE !!! I'm glad that my boy had a chance to play with him. Hopefully he will have the same chance to play with Kyle. Good Luck CE, your leadership, ability and toughness left a lasting impression on the Program. Go Ryle !!!

WV I think can match up athletically with SKs Bigs. Lay is playing forward and should be able to win the dribble drive battle on SKs bigs. Clinkenbeard has a deadly right hand and left hand baby hook in the paint. Solid 6'4" with long arms, does a great job keeping his body between the ball and the defender. He can get that shot off in the paint. Both of them can pop a 3 as well. Although SKs bigs may be bigger, I don't think they can contain them with a dribble drive and the threat of the 3 pointer. Draw them out, make them guard the three, then drive to the rack. If another SK big can help in the paint, it will be affective, but could risk foul trouble.

How many are seniors. How many are juniors. Who looks good for next year?

He's a good kid as well. Very respectful, polite kid. Hope the best for him on his quest to play on the next level. Heard Grand Valley State was interested too, great program.

People need to lay off this kid. I believe he is still 14, or just turned 15 a short time ago. With his size, it may take him 2 more years for his coordination to catch up with his body.

Makes complete sense, maybe the SK coaches don't want to listen to the SK fans so they go to the other side of the field : ) just kidding, trying to keep it light : )

Simple solution would be for SK to take the other side of the field by their home fans, student section and cheerleaders. Put the visiting team with their backs to the visiting fans. That's how most schools do it, I think. When the SK players are so close to the visiting fans it just seems like some taunting happens when the players score and are hyped up. I'm not pointing fingers or trying to start anything, but it just seems that way. Hey the best way to stop it is to keep them from scoring. But by having the teams switch sidelines would keep anything from happening with visiting players and SK cheerleaders and SK fans. Congrats on a great season to SK. Clearly #1 in NKY.

Zach's a great kid, hope the best for him this season. He works hard and earns his minutes. Ask any coach, kids like that are a factor at any level.

Ironically I have never heard of Gary Ball myself, until today. His daughter cut my hair. Chit chatting with her, I realized that this girl knows a ton about KY High School Football. She knew everything about SK, Cooper and Ryle. :wacky:
