I love Z Clinkenbeard's game. He is deadly with his left hand and right hand jump hook in the lane. Being 6'4" he can get that shot off over many bigs. Real good at keeping his body between the ball and the defender. He can stroke it from 3 as well.

Can't disgree with you at this point, Ryle v Cooper and Ryle v SK is going to be fun to watch nonetheless. But a non-opinion at this point, can we hold that to you when the Ryle V Cooper prediction thread comes out?

I Trust me, now that SK beat Cooper, I will bet a dozen donuts that he picks Cooper over Ryle. (Which will be a close game either way in my opinion) But indeed he will be a Cooper Fan that week

Hahaha, But I was wondering that. I'm not quite sure why Cooper has 2 home games vs Ryle in Consecutive years. Cooper was at home vs Ryle early in the season last year, and they are home vs Ryle this year. I thought it flip flops every year. Strange because Ryle only has 4 home games this year and 6 road games.

SK is rolling this year, but Cooper is also gobbling up Bulletin Board material like I gobble up cheesburgers. The more everyone doubts Cooper, the better they play. I'm sure Cooper isn't happy about the BS game, but I'm pretty sure they forgot about that game the next day and started gobbling up more Bulletin Board material. I'd still pick SK, but I don't think it will be a blow out.

I was at the game, JV played the the 4th, BS didn't bring their JV and rolled over Ryle's JV as you can imagine. Ryles Varsity held their own against BS, losing by 1 TD if I recall.

So you're saying Beechwood is gonna beat Highlands? If that's the case will they even make the playoffs? At least Ryle will be there. Come to union, they'll sell you a ticket.

Mayer played better vs Ryle than Hergott played vs Ryle. And I'm a Hergott fan. Good Kid, real good player. If Highlands puts pressure on Mayer, he will be forced to make a quick decision. Ryle cranked up the pressure late in the game and Mayer had happy feet, the errors started to show. If there is no pressure, Mayer has the ability to pick you apart. Very good player for a sophomore. I agree with Fear, without Darlington, it will be tough. If you put pressure on Mayer, it will be all Highlands.

RC99 and Voice. Ryle is in the same boat as Highlands. Ryle wants to prove themselves in Districts. From what I have heard, If Ryle gets 1 district win, they still get a home playoff game. They want to prove they can be the best Boone Cty team, then go on from there. As far as a regular season record is concerned. There is a chance they could go 8-2, 9-1 or 10-0. I see them running the table with the exception of Cooper and SK. Cooper could go either way. SK will definitely be a challenge. A home playoff game would be a great goal. The record will take care of itself. This is just my opinion. I guarantee this team is taking it 1 week at a time.

Not to repeat myself. A SK win would be great, just like a Highlands win would be great. In my opinion, a winning district record would be better. This team is much improved, much talented, smart, but I'm sure not dumb enough to look past any team on their schedule. They appear to be a very coachable team without any extreme ego's.

Again, this is gonna be a great game. Ryle is 3-0, Highlands is 1-2. If Ryle loses, they are 3-1, and Highlands is still .500. Conversely, if Ryle wins, they are 4-0 and Highlands is 1-3. If Highlands doesn't win another game this season, there will be a lot of people saying they are still still a dominating team. I guess they deserve that because of their history. But people should really start giving Ryle credit for turning the past two seasons around this quickly. I won't pick apart the rest of Highlands schedule, but there are 3 games on Ryle's remaining schedule that could go either way (Highlands, Cooper, SK). That would put them at a 7-3 season. Much improved over the past two. I read a post in an earlier thread. This year, Ryle's wants to be the best team in Boone Cty. I couldn't agree more.

This will be a great game. Ryle won't take anyone for Granted. Highlands isn't happy and will be up for this game. They'll be jacked up. So will Ryle. This is gonna come down to execution on the field, both teams. Highlands if they are trying new stuff, and Ryle to execute their game plan offensively and on D trying to stop what Highlands is throwing at them. I don't imagine anyone in that Ryle locker room is thinking this game is a fore gone conclusion. However, they do believe in their talent and abilities and are buying in to Coach Englers way of thinking. This is why they are getting better week from week. Yes, winning by close games vs the Catholics, but good teams win ugly. Close wins are wayyyy better than a loss / moral victory.

I can't argue any of your'alls points. SK separating themselves. Wonder how Cooper will rebound next week. How much time left in this game?

On the Freshman level last year as an 8th grader, he missed one PAT all year. That team scored a bunch of touchdowns, it wouldn't surprise me if he kicked over 35 PATs last year as well. They had no need to go for 2 much. This kid is consistent, will be fun to watch as his leg gets stronger.

I'm gonna do the rest of Cooper's schedule a favor and stop giving them bulletin board material. Copper wins 21-7. This team only needs 2 scores to win. They don't give up much. Everyone else should start picking this team and stop giving them motivation, they don't need it.

Your first post on he thread was giving Ryle Props . Now break them down. Again, you are Passive Agressive. You have to admit that 2 wins against quality teams after 2 and 5 win seasons is a positive trend that even you didn't expect. I don't want to wait for your prediction, Are you picking Boone over Ryle next week?

I was commenting more on the non fumble call on the kick off after Ryles first score. And the non fumble call on The Legend strip in the second half calling him in the grasp. On sides kick was a strange on too. 3 possible Lex Cath turnovers reversed. Less of a comment on Penalties.

That would be a waste. Michael Pennick and Jake Long are studs. Pennick is a Sr and Long is a Jr. Keep England where he is at. Why fix what isn't broke?
