Guest Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Which kids were snubbed from the All-State list?
Guest Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Three that come to mind are Tanner Morgan, Cash Jones and Shane Burns.
ATLCat Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Once the AP and BGP are released I think we can see what kind of legs this list has.
NamecipS Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Three that come to mind are Tanner Morgan, Cash Jones and Shane Burns. I don't get the Tanner Morgan was snubbed deal. He had a decent year, but was it really all-state worthy?
Pete W Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I thought Sr RB Jamison White from Fern Creek deserved to be in the list. 196 carries, 1786 yards, 15 touchdowns. Over 9 yards per carry average. I realize there are a lot of good running backs, but can't believe Jamison doesn't get at least honorable mention.
zoneblitz2 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Landon Board (Owensboro) should have at-least got a honorable mention. If not for splitting carries early in season he would have definitely be on there.
GCHS Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Jacob Foley (Garrard). At least worthy of an Honorable Mention selection at RB, IMO.

Wow...not familiar with this kid at all, but with those numbers on a good team I can't see how he wasn't AT LEAST honorable mention, if not flat out all state.
BossHog72 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I won't call this a snub because lists are hard to make and there is always someone left out, especially small school players. With that said I believe in my own opinion that William Brown deserved at least HM. Brown was a 2 way starter all four years and has earned a ton of scholarship offers from all NCAA Divisions including D1 FBS.Not bad for a player from a one of the smallest Class A schools (Bethlehem).
TIGER1988 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 SHANE BURNS (Caldwell County) = 228 of 319 (71.5% completion = #1), 3191 total yards (#2 = Zuberer 3483), 34 TD (#3 = Zuberer -46, Hall - 35), 129.4 QB rating (#2 = Hall 133.6). 3 best QB's in state (Zuberer, Hall, Burns)
stick1 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Luke Trimble (DB/Ath) 1st team in a lot of eyes, 2nd team today on the USA Today team. Had a span of 6 int's in 7 games this yr (12 career int along w 7 fumble recoveries). Also finished career over 2,200 all purpose yds+28 TD's. Home run hitter both sides of the ball 4 pick 6's, regular season ave 14yds a carry +15yds a catch. 4 yr starter both ways never missed a game! Senior Season Highlights - Luke Trimble highlights Kent Phelps (RB/Ath) Will be on the 2016 Mr Football list. Want to say 1,700yds 23 TD's. Outstanding combo strength/speed along w great hands. Good snapshot of Phelps is about 2 hours before the Final 4 game vs Pikeville he found out he was going to have to start QB 1st time in HS. 1st drive he threw a TD bomb deep and on the money. 2nd kickoff he ran back for a TD. Also rushed for another. Will get big D1 baseball+football offers. Junior Season Highlights - Kent Phelps highlights
Doubletake1906 Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Bryan Cummings of South Warren... Anyone at the Championship game knows there are few DBs better than him in the State.
Bluegrasscard Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Andy Thompson from LexCath. After seeing the structure of the ballots in the other thread I see how someone like Andy can get left out. With each ballot having only one roster by specific positions its easy to see how 'snubs' occur.
