The O line award from WYMT is always and entire unit. They list the individual names and a key backup or two so that the viewers/readers know who makes up that unit.

Thanks. I was not sure if the 'one team' line was due to the Pirates dominance this year. I was surprised to see only one of the Belfry line in the C-J list. That was a super group.

Jordan Scott is without a doubt one of the Top 10 linemen in the State. He played Guard.

 

Austin Gibbs is definitely HM worthy and will go down as one of the most under appreciated players in Belfry History. He graduates after earning three rings as a Starter on the line

I don't get the Tanner Morgan was snubbed deal. He had a decent year, but was it really all-state worthy?

 

I would have to agree with you,, I think it is more of a snub that the Racke kid from Simon Kenton is left off the list. I only got to see the Morgan kid play one time and that was against Cooper. Cooper's QB out played him that night, kept plays alive with his legs and threw a decent ball. Morgan looked one dimensional without the speed to get away from a 3 man rush. The dink and dunk offense Morgan is playing in will not showcase his arm and may hurt his chances to make the All State list in the future.

But I'll bet Morgan would gladly trade an all state list for an offer. From what I hear, recruiters are loving this kid.

I think a few of Belfry's players should have made the list. What about TJ Dotson at least somewhere on the list but definitely HM worthy

Wheatley RB at LCA, Blevins LB at Mercer 130+tackles, Dampier QB at Danville 30 TD's /5 Ints. All HM worthy
