RB/LB Devan Logan, Garrard County

Forgive my geography. But do you consider Scott Co, Central KY ?? If so, where does Josh Davis stack up for next year. He's all over social media taking recruiting trips here and there all season. He's a heck of a player and athlete. Just wondering how he stacks up with the rest of the QBs in the area. He's a good kid.

So he is moving back from Ohio? C'mon man if he does move, it will be one of the Lexington schools that are contenders.

This has been the hot stove rumor for the past week or so. I've been told it is really close to being a done deal that they will be moving back to CKY.

Mercer County, Danville and Boyle County are the rumored destinations to date. Mercer County is the early favorite to land Russ Yeast as his family still has strong ties to the Harrodsburg area and speculation is that he wants to play with his cousins on the Mercer County football team and that he wants to join the staff wherever Russ ends up at.

Again, this is all speculation, rumor and innuendo. If I had facts to post I would post them but this is what folks are saying at home in Boyle County and at work in Harrodsburg.

Dee Smith-RB/CB-Mercer County

Dustin Baker-RB/QB/LB-Mercer County

Grayson Blevins-RB/LB-Mercer County

Jerard Smith-DL-Mercer County

Tyus Short-DL-Mercer County

Craig still has some ties with some of the Lexington schools, so I wont be surprise if Russ ends up playing for one of these schools. Lafayette because Craig knows the coaching staff and their program right now is playing at a high level with Walker Wood, Jedric Wills ( UK commit ) and Quinton Brown. Lexington Cath has Legend Brumbaugh as their QB and his dad is the UK D-line coach and Russ is a UK commit and of course Craig's old stomping ground, Bryan Station... So we will see I guess.

No doubt. I won't be surprised with any destination. Except for Boyle County. Craig has a huge Rolodex. I'm guessing his family hopes he brings Russ home.

FWIW, Mercer County has one of their awards for players named after the Yeast family. :D

Not that it indicates but he was also at Danvilles last game and he also has some family in Danville. Would love to see him in Danvilles offense with Dampier throwing him the ball

Does the Russ Yeast rumor have anything to do with some people throwing his name dads name around for the UK WR coach position? If not, why would he be coming back to Kentucky?

I heard to play in front of family not sure
