PurplePride92 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Don't know yet but Gary is cool as hell and he knows his stuff.
PepRock01 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Unless Lafayette has improved dramatically since earlier this season I doubt it. Then again I didn't expect them to keep it close with SC so maybe it will be a good game against SK.
NKY Bandit Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 I give. Who is Gary Ball and why should I believe he knows anymore than me?
TheDeuce Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 When I saw Lafayette at Trinity earlier this year, they didn't have ANY offense. It was drop back, run around, and hope somebody comes open.
uk#1fan Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Do you agree? If the game goes like last year SK wins easy!!! SK has not lost at home in a very long time!!!! SK all the way!!! Oh yea who is Gary Ball never heard of him?
PurplePride92 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 I give. Who is Gary Ball and why should I believe he knows anymore than me? Gary Ball is the host of TV show and radio show Scholastic Ball Report. He's watched more KY high school football and sports longer than a lot of us have been alive. He covers broadcasts for KHSAA state championships in multiple sports and will likely be covering some broadcasts for the football state finals this season as well. He likely has access to videos of games from lots of teams and able to make an informed guess of the outcome of the game while most of us just make speculative and biased attempts at analyzing a game. Is he more right than any of us? Technically, no, but the man has seen a lot, watches a lot, covers a lot and is very very respected in the world of KY High School sports.
Cover Corner Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Gary Ball is a good sports personality and a GREAT PERSON. There are few people in the state that out more time into high school athletics than Gary Ball. That being said o don't know if I agree with the pick. Won't be surprised if Lafeyette wins as they are dangerous, but wouldn't pick against SK in this one but Gary knows his stuff.
KnightTime07 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 If Lafayette wants to beat Simon Kenton, they're going to need to to play solid defense. Even better than the effort they gave tonight against Scott Co. in the red zone.
uk#1fan Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Well I have a really good feeling Gary Ball is going to be wrong!!!! SK has a 22 game home winning streak!!!

Oh yea who is Gary Ball never heard of him? Well good thing this isn't last year, and Lafayette's not that team. Worse thing SK could do think they have this in the bag.
uk#1fan Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Well good thing this isn't last year, and Lafayette's not that team. Worse thing SK could do think they have this in the bag. SK doesn't over look anyone. They will be ready for the show down with the Generals!!!

He was in NKY prior to heading to Lexington. I believe he is a Boone County grad.
