I'd say the ridiculously sloppy conditions that seemed to be all over last night. One of those nights for sure.

The best ones are the crews that you don't even know are out there. They keep control of the game, without controlling the game. You could call something on every play if you wanted, much like in basketball where there isn't a trip down the court where something couldn't be called. The good and great ones realize this. My hat is off to all coaches and refs.

There may not be a better zero or 1 win team in the state than Clark County. They have lost some heartbreakers. Unfortunately, I don't think their first win comes this week either.

Danville gets to Bowling Green. Caldwell hosts Boyle the day after Thanksgiving. Highlands or CovCath play Thanksgiving weekend. Scott County beats Simon Kenton in the region finals and goes onto play Male in BG. Central Hardin and John Hardin both win their region. North Hardin wins a playoff game...goes to McCracken in the 2nd round & I just hope all of the lights on the scoreboard are working. Why not? Somebody needs to make things interesting to look back on and look like a hero or zero, right? Might as well have some fun.

What's already been said, their schedule. Outside of Central, Belfry and Boyle the rest of those teams schedules dont compare. Caldwell would blast the rest of those teams, too.

I think Collins is very good. Getting beat by Louisville Eastern who has more talent than you can shake a stick at every single year and Boyle County aren't anything to doubt yourselves about. But, in a day and age where (with the exception of a few programs): -If you are undefeated, "your schedule sucks". -If you are around .500, "what the hell is wrong?" It's easy to question your program, when all in all, it probably gets back to the old adage of, "You're never as good as you think you are, and never as bad as you think you are." But, looking at things like that is way too boring, makes way too much sense and provides absolutely zero drama. So, we have to come out with some kind of ignorant hot air to spew. :lol2:

Going into the season, maybe, but it's justified right now. Both teams 5-0. Both teams are in what's arguably the best 4A District in the state, and probably one of the Top 5 in all of the state. The past three years this game has been a slug fest. Spencer comes in not just 5-0, but leading the state in scoring and rushing. Both are Louisville-Metro area schools. There needs to be hype from the Spencer side of things. If a community and school can't get excited for a game like this, then drop the sport. These are the games that makes high school football what it is. Attention validated IMO, and I'm glad it's getting it. Are you really that surprised? :thumb: Good luck!

Poor pitiful Collins. Bless their souls. Come on man. Embrace it. The program is a bonafide Top 25 program in the state year in year out. Nobody is downing Collins. Nobody is discrediting Coach Lucas. But, you can't argue to be recognized with the best of the best (as Collins has already validated once), then try to pull the poor pitiful me talk at the same time. It doesn't work like that. Everybody knew the program it could be. Coaches at programs with a lot of talent and resources often get hated on, and I've never understood that. In the end, talent is what matters. You better have it or you won't win. Not everybody can drive a Porsche w/out wrecking it. Coach Lucas is to be highly commended.
