What have been the biggest surprises you've seen thus far in the 2015 football season?

Have there been any players/teams that seem to have come out of nowhere? Any teams that surprised you with their successes or failures? Any upsets that you didn't see coming?

I'm surprised about Elizabethtown being undefeated at this point in the season even though their schedule is suspect.

Pleasant Surprises:

Danville- Thy have really improved and are a legit threat to get to Bowling Green

Caldwell County- Are not missing Sindelair like most expected and have proven themselves worthy

Scott County- You always expect them to be good but this team has over achieved.

Not So Pleasant Surprises:

Highlands/CovCath- Yuck! In the words of Anchorman, "That escalated quickly"

Rockcastle County- From offseason projection of dominance and declarations of wins to come... to 1-4 and unimpressive

Hardin County- Much was made of the Hardin County Schools. Cetral Hardin was expected to be a threat in 6A, North Hardin would beat good teams, and John Hardin was a Pre-Season #1 team. Between the three? 10 Losses already. Ouch.

What The Heck Upsets?

Knox Central beating Central-->Central beating St. Xavier--> St. Xavier crushing Bowling Green

Knox Central beating Central-->Southwestern beating Knox Central-->Bourbon County beating Southwestern-->Paintsville beats Bourbon County

Paintsville > Central, St. X, Southwestern, Bowling Green???????

That's why you can't always compare scores folks.

I am close to the Bishop Brossart program and I can tell you that they were EXTREMELY close to shutting it all down last year. This year they are 5-0. Never thought this was possible.

Danville gets to Bowling Green.

Caldwell hosts Boyle the day after Thanksgiving.

Highlands or CovCath play Thanksgiving weekend.

Scott County beats Simon Kenton in the region finals and goes onto play Male in BG.

Central Hardin and John Hardin both win their region. North Hardin wins a playoff game...goes to McCracken in the 2nd round & I just hope all of the lights on the scoreboard are working.

Why not? Somebody needs to make things interesting to look back on and look like a hero or zero, right? Might as well have some fun.

Accuracy

Trent Kincaid is having another great season for SK. He should break the school record for career interceptions soon. He's not the biggest/quickest cornerback you'll ever see but he has a nose for the ball and plays way bigger than his measurables.
