Who wins and why

IMO, from a Lloyd perspective this game will come down to which Juggs team shows up next Friday. If the Juggs that took Garrard Co to the shed last Friday show up it will be a close game with the Juggs getting a tough win. However, if the mistake and penalty marred imploding Juggs come to play then the Cougars could win by 3 TDs. Conner has improved each week of the season and are a 6A school (voluntarily playing up notwithstanding ) that has a nice mix of upper and lower classmen. Will the Cougars be at full strength? I have heard the Juggs may be missing a couple of starting lineman, but other than that they are pretty healthy 6 weeks into the season. My gut says Lloyd has matured enough to give Conner a real competitive game. Call me a Homer, but I will take the Juggs 26- 21 over the Cougars.

I agree with you footballfan1975, curious to see which Lloyd shows up and we should be able to see that within the first few mins. Also interested to see how the Juggs do being down some linemen. I would love to see the boys come out with a W in this one and have them running into district play with a full head of steam.

Why? It isn't like Cooper took it to them last year, and Conner returns more from last years team than Cooper does. Comparing scores and trying to use them to predict future outcome is difficult to do especially in high school.

Conner beats Newcath. Lloyd isn't comparable to NewCath. I like Conner by 14+.

FF1975 has it correct. Conner will not beat themselves but will allow Lloyd to make the mistakes and them take advantage of them. If Lloyd plays well they could win or make it a very close game. If they don't then Conner will win easily.

Conner by 4TD's, Lloyd isn't that good, and has played nobody very good to this point.

I am going with a Cougar victory in this match-up. Conner seems to improve week after week. They have also shown that they can win on the road (3 straight road victories) and can win close games. Should be a fun Friday night!
