Why? It isn't like Cooper took it to them last year, and Conner returns more from last years team than Cooper does. Comparing scores and trying to use them to predict future outcome is difficult to do especially in high school.

 

Conner and Cooper always has great games no matter what the teams are like each year. They remind me of the Bengals Browns games, no matter if one team is that much better than the other, those games always seem to be exciting.

Conner only had to replace one. Cooper had to replace a lineman also, that chose not to play.

I would like to see Lloyd and Boone renew their schedule. They have not played since 1988. It is better than Boone traveling to Lexington several times a year.

No Driggers is a one way player. I was informed that Knippenburg the kid that replaced him has a lot of potential. When I watched Conner Play Scott who looked like a good interior D-Lineman would like to see more of the kid before I say too much but it doesn't look like Conner will lose much in the interior next year.

Now this one will be fun. Give me Lloyd in the upset. They made their claim as a legit 2A contender out of the east with last week's win, a win over Conner stamps it.

A lot of folks picking against the Cougars again. I think an opportunistic defense and a diverse offense is too much for the Jugs. 28-13 Conner.

I know this has no bearing on this game, but I would love to see schools like Conner play Garrard County. Those boys, or rather men are HUGE, and quite a few of them are suprisingly athletic. If GC was not so one dimensional they would be top 4 in 3A.They had an off night and the Juggs were firing on all cylinders. Lloyd is better than people give them credit, but looking at Conner on film tells me that they are too balanced on offense for the Juggs average at best defense. Lloyd will have to light up the score board Friday to get the win, and with all the emotion surrounding the team this week anything can happen. Here is to a clean, fair, injury-free, and competitive contest between these two schools whose programs are definitely trending upward.

You're right Beechwood and Garrard are awful teams... Juggs keep it close and pull out the win. Both run similar offenses but Juggs have superior skill players.
