Don't forget about the special Thursday night kickoff time. For the past several years BG Independent Schools has honored their Alumni by moving the "Fall Break" week game to Thursday, allowing those traveling a little extra time to do so. Classy!

Can Purples stay focused? Is it time for the younger players to make a name for themselves? Although the scores the next several weeks may come in buckets, can Purples keep improving?

Give us your thoughts.

Honored their alumni by moving Fall Break??? Ummmm okayyyy.

BG running clock in the First Quarter. I'll say final will be 63-0.

I agree

BG would crush even the strongest Grayson County teams. This version of Grayson County is very weak. BG names the score.

48-7 BG

My thoughts exactly. For all the solid Grayson teams of the past several years, this version isn't one of them. I think Bowling Green wins big.

This has a thread?

"Honoring Alumni" may not have been best wording but in a way is true. Alumni as well as family members of current players and students can hit the road for Fall Break the Friday that most schools are in session. BG is out that Friday and all of the next week for Fall Break. Purples also use their bye week during the break.

It's the little things..

Hope Beau Buchanon (JV QB) and the rest of the JV guys are ready to play Thursday. I've got a feeling they will play alot.

Prediction............"PAINNNNNNN" 58-0 BG. Running clock first half.

Purples kickoff at 7 pm Thursday night. The game will be over by 7:30 pm. These are the games that should end at halftime, if there is a running clock.
