I predict that no team in Trinity's district scores on the Rocks in Trinity's march to their "Back to Back to Back" title run in 2007. That is correct, Trinity will shut-out the district. No other in state team will do much better as the Rocks will go undefeated in Kentucky again this year. Go Rocks Go!!!

Maybe your numbers apply to Ryle, but how do you explain Male? Every year Male seems to have better athletes than T with half as many boys. Male losing to T this year was not due to a lack of athletes but rather a lapse in coaching. Ryle's loss to Trinity in the final had a lot more to do with scheme than athletes, hence coaching.

Trinity doesn't have more than 99 varsity players but they do issue a few duplicate numbers. It works out OK as long as one kid is on offense and the other is on defense. This situation caused some confusion on this board last year. Some folks reported one of the Duttons (#2) playing safety for the Rocks. It turned out to be a duplicate number.

How many rows of seats are on the visitor side? It looks like four to me but I could be wrong. If it is four rows by 100 yards thats 1,200 feet of seating space. If you figure on 24 inches per seat, it works out to about 600 guests. Could this be correct? Also, a lot of new stadiums that I have visited with tracks have a fence on the outside of the track in the endzone areas (Henry Clay and I think Male are like this). Is X going to have the fence on the inside of the track between the track and the field like Manual Stadium?

Maybe Hynes should transfer to Trinity, sit out his sophmore year, lift weights, get stronger, learn the system and play as a junior and senior. Sounds like a good move for the kid and the Rocks. He would be a "Mr. Football" canidate in Trinity's system. JMO.

Who was #99? I thought he was the best player on Ryle's team. Is he going on to play football in college?

If there is any such code about parking/seating capacity, Trinity must be in violation.

The visitor stands at Marshall are as new as the home stands. The old home stands could not be used because they didn't meet code.

The tide turned when Gower was left wide open for three straight threes in the 3rd. It continued to unravel for the Rocks when then finally got a few calls and shot something like 5 for 20 from the line. I can't put this one on the coach, Trinity just doesn't have anybody that can handle the ball, period.:mad:

They haven't had it for years. The thought is that time is better spent doing other activities. Football players often play baseball, run Track, etc. It doesn't seem to be a problem lately.:thumb:
