I think they can beat Ashland and could be second in the district.

Every game could be a close game (yes I am firm in my belief East can beat Raceland). The win loss record will not matter for Raceland because I believe come playoff time the Rams will be battle tested and in good shape to make a run. I'm sure a 7 8 or 9 win regular season will be good for the confidence heading into the playoffs though.

Really surprised this thread hasn't picked up more steam. You Raceland fans are slacking.

Heard this about a couple of kids from West who wanted to transfer to Elliott. If it's not true either way they have two of the best players in the region already in Spencer and Porter.

Okay if this happened like where did the coach do it? In my head I'm imagining he walked into a JC weight room and did it (only because I think it's funny that way, but in reality I'm assuming he saw them in public) I mean if you're recruiting at the HS level, you have to be smarter than that. That's leaving physical evidence behind. It's different if you're just talking to a kid because there's no proof of a conversation, if this guy really did it he legitimately gave them his business card with his name and phone number on it. Maybe JC is lying, maybe they got ahold of the business card somehow and are conspiring it as an excuse because they're tired of their players leaving to go there. This would be a cool twist to the story. I'm really tired These two teams just need to play.

What do the kids get at the camp? I'm assuming a tshirt is basically what the camp fee is for.

I don't like to say the word hating, but that's what you're doing. 4.6 laser timed is legit fast for a high school kid. What would be a good time for you? You're an adult trying to diminish a kids accomplishment. Yeah these guys trained in a college weight room setting for 4-5 years, then they specifically trained for the NFL combine. Johnny Manziel ran a 5 something 40 out of college before he specifically started to train his 40. He ran a 4.68 at the combine. Plus they're 4-5 years older. I highly doubt their head coach has trained these guys in the 40 the way that the athletes at the NFL combine have.

I wouldn't call a 4.6 mediocre, especially at the high school level. 7 running backs at the latest NFL combine ran slower than a 4.6. This is laser times as well, so it's as legit as can be. At a 4.6 he's one of the faster kids in the state most likely. He ran for over 600 yards on 110 carries and 12 TDs according to their khsaa stats reported, that led the team in rushing . Wouldn't call him a mediocre player either. Let the kid have his shine and don't be so negative, he's a kid you're an adult. What's your 40 time?

Interested to see how well they can pass the ball and who is the QB. They'll have Conley back, who has rushed for a thousand each season of his career and I doubt that'll change this year. They'll be good, I still think it'll be a three team race for that district between West Carter, Fleming, and Russell.

Gets kids out of the weight room and doing football drills, even small schools can do it with limited numbers. Is the option to skip it there to add an extra scrimmage or am I thinking of a different state?

2-0 according to KHSAA scoreboard. East doesnt have a senior on the roster right now and only have three juniors, they're incredibly sophomore loaded. They do need to schedule heavy in the future, but no matter what happens at the state tournament this year they'll most likely be back next year with even more experience and the best player in the state.

Those are really impressive numbers, I think Fouts will be up there around all of those by the end of her career. She had 8 perfect games this year on her own, I think she passed her on the no hitters in a season this year with the region championship, and her single season ERA is lower so far than the record. I think the numbers will be very comparable though by the end of the career! Looking at the schedule they played spring valley and Scott, I don't know how talented those two teams are but those are the two WV teams. They allowed only ten runs all season.
