$$$$$$$$$, the beach within an hour and the big green monster's + Kentucky's version of 'The U' (Male) rearing their ugly heads in the early rounds within the near future I'm sure had nothing to do w/ this, though.

That's a nice job for a guy to get who did little to nothing with a SEC back.

Not the end of the story. Out of respect for Coach Jackson and his family, I will wait until he makes a public statement about the situation before adding any detailed comments.

I wonder what the ticket gates at these schools are for these coaches to receive that much money.

You figure, You'd need close to 7,000 people per 5 home games, each paying $8. That'd give you home gates total of 280K. If you also got the concessions, and estimated each of those 7,000 people ate an average of 0.85 worth of concessions, you'd have a concessions haul for 5 home games of $29,750...that gives you over 300K.

 

The real strength money wise is in the number of attendees.

Kentucky has connections to two of those schools that I know of for fact. Chase Harp is the Offensive Coordinator at Glynn Academy (took over that spot when Jackson left Glynn to come to McCracken) and of course all know about Sphire at NG.

Those salaries are mind blowing for me for HS coaches.

Those are a 10th of what most college coaches make.

 

I wonder what those coaches do on the daily. Does that include their teaching responsibilities? If so they don't make that much just to coach like college coaches do.
