Dowland sent a message to kids and parents that he and Coach Jackson were staying. I didn't know they were a package deal, until he made us aware. What do you think was his point of putting it out there? All of this was not handled well. If someone wants to move on, I'm all for it. However, as in business there is a right way to handle it.

I had the same gut feeling..and to stir the pot, mccracken county athletic director personally sent mike rodgers a text on the day we announced his resignation at tilghman and he said " your a heck of a coach and we would be happy to have you at mccracken county!..if I was handling this situation here is how I would proceed...

1) shawn had to be interested in the Georgia job in order to be considered.

2) you can't expect th3 players to fully trust and buy into a coach that they are not sure will be around in a few years..

3) shawns resume shows he jumps from town to town, team to team...that speaks alot in itself..

4) would personally love to see the mike rodgers Era at mccracken co!!!

I am going to say one way or another he is gone after this year. All signs point to he accepted this position but then somehow his mind was swayed.

Can't blame a guy for looking out for his own situation, but this didn't exactly go over smoothly.

the _ truth if you paid attention last year and obviously you did not, with all the points we gave up it would appear that we only played defense with 10 men on the field. The 3-3-4 and 3-4-3 is Rogers terminology. The safety is the 11th man dude. Sorry to confuse you.
