Graves County 43 Paducah Tilghman 42
Forever Blue replied to True blue (and gold)'s topic in KY Football (High School)
Well said Bigblue78. Those schools and their fans that never seem to be on the receiving end of this obvious cheating by referees will never understand. Like you I hate it more for the kids because they deserved to win the game. It takes a special kind of a whole to do a bunch of kids that way. Wonder how they (the officials) would feel if their children were treated that way? -

Congratulations to Graves Co. On the win. However the officials literally handed them the game on the last two plays of the game. Don't care what anyone says officials can, will and do CHEAT -

ATLcat why you always cutting on us? We are still the 4th winningest program in the state. Oh I remember now PT beat your Belfry boys back in 1985 for the 3A state championship or maybe that was you on that team. Hehehehe -

Stole one??? You are obviously intoxicated and you most definitely were not at the game last year and good luck on that 35 - 10 prediction hahaha -

Went to Tilgman's scrimmage last Friday at Christian Co., where they scrimmaged 1st South Warren, 2nd Warren Central and last Christian Co. The blue men battled South Warren to a 6 - 6 tie. After that coach Barber substituted often, with the other two schools involved and Tilghman still did not lose to either. Don't get me wrong PT has some issues that need to be corrected and soon. However 35 - 12 seems like a stretch at very best. All I can say is the "Stangs" better be prepared. I feel a stiff breeze beginning to blow. -
Coach Thomas will prove to be an excellent hire. Blue Paducah your assumption that Randy Wyatt must give his approval is like others, it is corrupt. In addition coach Thomas is a former Murray State Racer. He played under Scott Edgar. I expect coach Thomas to bring a brand of tough, hard nosed basketball with a emphasis on defense to the program. Good luck coach!!! "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, Forever Blue"

Not the case at all. I am truly sorry that you dislike coach Wyatt so much and I am quite certain that you do not have a clue about PT athletics. You are definitely on the outside looking in. Good luck. "Once A Tornado Always A Tornado" -

You are totally WRONG. Mike Rogers left on his own. Rogers did not get what he wanted so he QUIT. Plain and simple. Enough about Mike Rogers. He had his chance. His 15-10 record speaks for itself. The past is history and is over. We must move forward and be positive. "Once A Tornado Always A Tornado" -
IMO the whole school from the administration to the janitors are all basketball minded. They do not care about football. To them football is an afterthought a fill in sport so to speak until basketball starts. "Once A Tornado Always A Tornado"

As I stated earlier your information is corrupt and you know nothing of which you speak. I seriously doubt you are closer than I am and if you are kudos to you. I KNOW Randy Wyatt does not have that much pull and say so with PT athletics. We will see how things shake out. Should be fun. No matter who they hire as head basketball coach it will most definitely be a step up as Brad Steig was a classic underachieving coach at best. I know the man worked hard but he just never seemed to be able to put it all together. "Once A Tornado Always A Tornado" -
IMO Marshall has always been a "Sleeping Giant". They always have good numbers and good size and speed. What they have not always had is a good head coach. Everyone considers them a basketball school but I assure you if they ever figure out hiring a good football coach they will be a load to deal with. "Once A Tornado Always A Tornado"

Well if anyone in Kentucky football doesn't think that Mayfield will simply be Mayfield. Well you can't fix STUPID . I for one think that on any given Friday night against any team in this state, Mayfield has a chance to win. If you don't think so get your school to schedule them and find out. I assure you they ain't scared. "Once A Tornado Always A Tornado"

Not sure I agree with your assessment that McCracken was soft last year. With all due respect Male made everyone they played look soft LOL. Also as a Tilghman fan I got a up front and personal experience watching PT play Central Hardin last year. The Bruins had a fine ball club. They were about as big and physical team as you will find in Kentucky football. "Once A Tornado Always A Tornado"

Yes sweet16 I was told through the grapevine last season that coach Overstreet was very interested in the job should it become available. You are spot on with your comments above. He is a pretty darn good coach. In addition did you know that he is a PTHS alumni and played basketball there as well? He was a very good player too. "Once A Tornado Always A Tornado" -

Where do you get your FACTS from? I happen to be fairly close to PTHS athletics. Your perception of coach Wyatt is WRONG. "Once A Tornado Always A Tornado" -

Yes IMHO Thomas or head coach Greg Overstreet from St. Marys would both be excellent choices. Hey principal Davis pick one of these two candidates. You will not be sorry. "Once a Tornado always a Tornado" -

the game guy you give way too much credit to coach Wyatt. Your information too is corrupt. I believe he would agree with me on that. Slandering folks with regard to things you know nothing about is not very becoming or credible. However he is THE BEST TRACK COACH in the state. "Once a Tornado always a Tornado" -

Greenvilleky your information is corrupt. You know nothing of which you speak. Coach Wyatt had absolutely nothing to do with Mike Rogers QUITTING. "Once A Tornado, Always A Tornado" -
Hey ATLCAT thanks for recognizing Askew at PT. I have seen him play on many occasions and STUD is a perfect word for him. In addition Tilghman has a incoming freshman QB by the name of Jackson Fristoe. Remember that name. IMO he will most likely be an All American before he leaves Tilghman. He just recently competed in one of the national middle school all star football games and is a starting pitcher for the varsity baseball team. Not many know about him but with the implementation of the spread offense by the new coaching staff it will not take long for many to know who he is. Just my opinion.

Hey guys the cupboard is hardly bare even before the new staff started beating the halls. What I keep saying and all should take notice is that with this spread offense coached by Mr. Treece, Tilghman will start winning early. You all saw what coach Treece did at Lone Oak with the spread and they were not in the same galaxy with skill kids like PT is. Oh and did I forget SPEED??? IMO coach Barber is going to implement a defense similar to that of the defense coach Allen Cox used during the 9 years he spent coaching at Tilghman. Oh by the way coach Cox was in the state championship game 5 of those 9 years. Uh I believe that dog will hunt. So maybe just maybe if we couple this spread offense and a tough attacking defense the blue men might scratch out a win or two early. Only time will tell. However I do feel a stiff breeze beginning to blow. "Once a Tornado always a Tornado"
