One of the bigger, newer rivalries in western Kentucky takes place with McCracken County facing Paducah Tilghman. Can the Tornado, with a new coach, pull off an opening night home win?

Being 6A or 3A has nothing to do with this game. PT always acts as if this game doesn't mean anything to them but always seem to play better in this game than any other game in the season. In the short three year series between the city & county the home team has yet to win one. PT with a new but very respected head coach won't help them this season. McCracken has a very good receiving Corp & I believe that is enough to give the Mustangs the advantage this year. McCracken wins 35-12.

Not so fast, I heard their receivers dropped at least 10 balls last week vs Trinity, including two that would have been TDs

Went to Tilgman's scrimmage last Friday at Christian Co., where they scrimmaged 1st South Warren, 2nd Warren Central and last Christian Co. The blue men battled South Warren to a 6 - 6 tie. After that coach Barber substituted often, with the other two schools involved and Tilghman still did not lose to either. Don't get me wrong PT has some issues that need to be corrected and soon. However 35 - 12 seems like a stretch at very best. All I can say is the "Stangs" better be prepared. I feel a stiff breeze beginning to blow.
