Ram
What does Raceland need to do to improve in 2016? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.
The Cerebral Assassin
Offensive line play has to be better, and another RB besides Bailey Walker needs to step up in order to give Walker a breather.

STEEL_CURTAIN88
Looking foward to what is hopefully a much better season this year. I think the changes that have been made will be very positive, we stay healthy and focused and the sky is the limit. In current news the annual highschool/JFL camp will start tomorrow at 6pm and Saturday at 10pm for those of u on here that have little ones. Flag-6th grade. Bac2369
^ I agree...The Rams have several fans on here and I would of thought the same thing. I do know they still return a solid team this year and have a QB with a year of experience under his belt and return 1 running back of what I would of used as a three headed monster last year ( Christian,Synder, and then Walker). STEEL_CURTAIN88
Fan ase seems reflective of the team right now. Not alot of talk. Too much hype over the last few years has led to a lack of desire, imo. Team seems to be all business. Working their tails off. Aounding to me like some of the "bubble" guys upfront have given themselves a shot at starting positions. Not taking them away from former guys that started, but have earned them and it seems to shaping out in a way that the depth upfront will be used. sidelinedoc
I think the hype of last year's team and riding the coat tails of the previous 2 years and the shock of being 0-3 versus District opponents has laid the ground work to the offseason workouts and early season practices. I am not going to make a prediction but I will tell you that this team appears focused to avenge last year's embarrassing 7-5 record and second round playoff exit. oldrambler
As with any team in any season, the success will go along as the line play goes. I honestly have lost track on who we have returning and any promising young linemen stepping in. Hopefully someone can let us know about that. I am hearing that this seasons team is showing a much better attitude, are hungry for a good season. Walker should be a beast on offense and defense. i look for a huge season from him on both sides of the ball. Raceland does have some excellent younger kids at RB that will need to step up. I am hoping that will be sooner rather than later. I am sure this heat is limiting practice and what, how much can be done but every school is having to deal with that. No predictions at this time ... the one thing i want that was missing last season, is consistency from this Rams team. Last season was looking very impressive vs some opponets and flat out smelling up the place vs. others. As always at Raceland, the schedule is loaded....Very tough. GO RAMS !! OrangeCrush13
The Grid-O-Rama will be at Raceland due to Russell's field still needing more work before the season. Im excited to see what this team brings to the table after a disappointing season last year.
Bac2369
I hear the Rams have plenty of kids out and shouldn't have any problems with depth. I am eager to see if they can use a lot of kids to steal some time for the players that play both ways...
RaiderPride5
Every game could be a close game (yes I am firm in my belief East can beat Raceland). The win loss record will not matter for Raceland because I believe come playoff time the Rams will be battle tested and in good shape to make a run. I'm sure a 7 8 or 9 win regular season will be good for the confidence heading into the playoffs though.
DevilMayCare
The Rams should have one of the best offensive lines in 1A. D-line should be very stout as well. That gives them a great foundation on each side of the ball. My question is, does Raceland have enough weapons on offense to be versatile and prevent defenses from keying on Bailey Walker? I think Judd Adkins could step up this season and start to show some of his potential. He's got plenty of physical ability. He just needs to stay healthy. Damon Black is another player that should be utilized more. Getting the ball to him in space would be a good idea.
