You were doing good up until that last comment, . Tailgating - Yes, no doubt and I am sure that you would be welcome if you wanted tailgate, even join our Ram Nation / BGP crew. As for "feeling it" on a Russell win ...you may want to see a Dr. about that condition, so many before have entered with that and been mistaken. Raceland usually cures that for people with a extra dose or two of Orange Crush poured on them. :lol2::popcorn:.

Good luck to your beloved Red Devils this season, with the one exception of that night, of course . Regardless of what happens, I do hope that both Raceland and Russell leave that game injury free and have everyone healthy to start the real season / playoffs in the next week. :thumb:

The Grid-O-Rama will be at Raceland due to Russell's field still needing more work before the season. Im excited to see what this team brings to the table after a disappointing season last year.

The Rams should have one of the best offensive lines in 1A. D-line should be very stout as well. That gives them a great foundation on each side of the ball. My question is, does Raceland have enough weapons on offense to be versatile and prevent defenses from keying on Bailey Walker?

 

I think Judd Adkins could step up this season and start to show some of his potential. He's got plenty of physical ability. He just needs to stay healthy. Damon Black is another player that should be utilized more. Getting the ball to him in space would be a good idea.

 

There are a couple that will be soph.'s this season that are good athletes, strong. As I said in an earlier post, we will see how they handle the step up to Varsity, rather than jr high / Frosh.

True, anything could happen. We didn't look too good against them in the 1st quarter last year.

Well, team camp begins this evening and full pads begin tomorrow. We will know more about our guys come Wednesday evening.

Good seeing the kids fly around tonight. This team has a lot of potential! Gotta put in some work to be great but they can get there. Football season is here!

How many do they have in camp?

65 or more i believe.

I spoke with Mike at the JFL camp, he said they had 70 on the pre-camp roster, including Freshman. I figure by the start up of the season that number should be about the same. Kind of rare at Raceland to see kids start the season, then drop before the season starts. Dont get me wrong, its happened. But for the most part, you either play football or you dont in Ram Country. Dont mean that in an errogant way or putting anyone down. So i figured between 65-70 by week 0.

 

Hearing really good things out of the "big 3". Isaac, Jerome, and Morgan. But also hearing that the option of having some really solid rotation guys and guys pushing their way up the depth chart happening as well. Sounding more and more like we are finally goina be using this depth.
