She had around a 0.17 ERA on 174 innings of work according to the Ashland paper as of May 26th, and she allowed one run during region but I don't know if it was earned.

 

 

 

She'll be the best player in state history by the time her career is over and that's not an exaggeration, she's just a sophomore.

She def will go down as one of the best , if not the best . She's that good . But its a team sport , we will see where the team stands soon enough .

She has given up 4 ER in 187 innings.

They obviously dominated the 16th region , in historic fashion , who all did they play outside the 16th ? WV has some good HS softball , did they play any over that way ?

I only ask the questionout of respect for her because I know she is tough. We faced her in a tourney when I believe she was a 8th Grader and lost 1-0 and she was throwing smoke then and I'm sure she is better now. Wish her and EC the best at state

Those are really impressive numbers, I think Fouts will be up there around all of those by the end of her career. She had 8 perfect games this year on her own, I think she passed her on the no hitters in a season this year with the region championship, and her single season ERA is lower so far than the record. I think the numbers will be very comparable though by the end of the career!

Looking at the schedule they played spring valley and Scott, I don't know how talented those two teams are but those are the two WV teams.

State tourney will be the gauge in my opinion. Gotta play the best to be the best. I have faced her before as well and I like the kid a lot.

Yeah I think EC is actually going to struggle in Owensboro. Just played too light a schedule to get prepared for good teams . I'm going to be kind and say the 16th was average for eastern Ky this year , not near as good the previous 6 years where Ashland had a stud thrower and while East was obviously dominant with their pitching I doubt that Fouts can keep throwing shut out after shut out against the likes of East Jess and MNH . Those teams are light years ahead the Russell's Boyd's and Rowans in both O and D .

But the future is bright as can be for the Raiders , young team that needs to play 8-10 games a year against teams that won't strike out 15 times a game .

2-0 according to KHSAA scoreboard.

 

 

East doesnt have a senior on the roster right now and only have three juniors, they're incredibly sophomore loaded. They do need to schedule heavy in the future, but no matter what happens at the state tournament this year they'll most likely be back next year with even more experience and the best player in the state.
