I think as a Boyle County fan I am pulling for Elizabethtown to host the semi-final game instead of Caldwell County. Caldwell County is a 195 mile, 3 hour drive to play on a grass field. Elizabethtown is a 70 mile, 80 minute drive to play on a turf field. Not sure if the coaches/players feel the same way as I do.

Wayne County turned the ball over 4 times vs Boyle. One was a pick six. Boyle beating Wayne was a very good win for the Rebels. Maybe the best of the year. And Wayne held Boyle to 103 yards rushing. They can play.

The latest Cantrall ratings (for what it is worth) would indicate Garrard is favored: Garrard County 50.6 Fleming County 44.3

Really strong analysis I think. I have said all along Garrard will be a tough out in the playoffs because their ground game should keep them in the game.

I really like what Boyle did last week. Once the running clock was achieved, Boyle went with subs and JV. But when they got down into the red zone, the coaches kicked 2 field goals with the first team unit just to get the practice reps in. One was from the right hash, one from the left. And they didn't do it on 4th down, just whenever they got within reasonable field goal range. Constantly working to get better in game situations.

I see a West Carter roster of 36 with only 3 Seniors. Apparently Senior Peyton Brown never comes off the field. Listed as a Running Back, Safety, Place Kicker, and Punter. My hat is already off to this guy.

It was 51 yards. Jackson Smith is his name.....remember it. Congrats to Corbin. Boyle has been searching for great competition all season long. Today they found it.
