  1. This is actually two contests in one. All you have to do is pick the winner of all ten games like you have been doing all year in the Pick-10 games (seven 1pt games, two 3pt games of your choice, and one 5pt super game that we choose). Here is the format: 5 (super game) 3 3 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 TB (total points scored in the super game) The weekly winner gets his/her normal prize. In addition to the normal contest we (we being me) will be keeping a cumulative total of points scored in the contest and the member with the most points after the state finals will win our grand prize. PLEASE READ - PLEASE READ - PLEASE READ!!! FREE MEMBERS CAN PLAY (FYI FREE MEMBERS - THERE WILL BE PAID ONLY PERIODS ON BGP DURING THIS CONTEST), BUT IF A FREE MEMBER WINS THE CUMULATIVE KOTC CONTEST - THE PRIZE WILL BE MERCHANDISE FROM THE BGP STORE. IF A PREMIUM/PAID MEMBER WINS, THE PRIZE WILL BE A CRISP BENJAMIN! AGAIN - THIS IS NOT FOR THE WEEKLY CONTEST, BUT THE GRAND PRIZE FOR THE 2017 KING OF THE CARPET. For the first 4 weeks, the contest will run just like the regular-season Pick 10 contest. There will be a 5-point super game, then you will make two 3-point picks and seven 1-point picks. Maximum point total is 18. The six championship final games that comprise the fifth and final week of the contest will be weighted by yours truly. At least one will be a "super game" with lots of points at stake. A quality prize goes to the winner. Check here for a reference. http://bluegrasspreps.com/new-member...ed-299747.html There will be TWO tiebreakers: (1) TOTAL POINTS scored in the 5pt Super Game and (2) Time of post. The deadline for all entries is 5 pm ET Friday. Last week was pretty tough on our entrants. Let's hope these games are easier. Here are the Round 2 games: Paris - Raceland (5-point super game) Christian County - South Warren Daviess County - McCracken County Doss - Montgomery County East Jessamine - Mercer County Frederick Douglass - Tates Creek Glasgow - Newport Central Catholic Harlan County - North Laurel Highlands - South Oldham Knox Central - Western Good luck!

Scoring this week was pretty decent overall (plantman's feeble submission notwithstanding); aided by a chestnut of a 5-point super game (that, my friends, was 5 points on a silver platter). While there were no perfect scores, we did have one 17-point entry, so we did not have to utilize a tiebreaker. Congratulations to grizzled contest veteran NEERFAN on his winning score, missing only the Montgomery County-Dixie Heights game as a 1-point pick. Nice to see you back in the winner's circle in one of my contests. Also congratulations to ATLCat for correctly predicting the 59 total points scored in the Super Game. 18. As always, the results won't be final for 24 hours. All contestants should use that time to check their score for errors. After that time period has passed, the contest is final and the winner should use the link below to claim the prize of choice. If you think your score is incorrect, please send me a PM and I will look into your claim. Scoring was positively atrocious in round 3. Sadly, I could not rise above the mediocrity. Reminds me of the old truism - it's hard to soar with the eagles when you're hanging with the turkeys (an apropos witticism as we approach the Thanksgiving holiday). Congratulations to HSfootballfan18 on the Round 3 victory with a score of 16, and it wasn't even close! Let's all hope beyond hope that we are spared his self-congratulatory back-patting.
