Who Ya With!

Boyle played reserves all of last half. Quit really trying to score even before halftime. Running clock at end of 1st quarter. West Carter scored twice against Boyle freshmen in last quarter with their starters in the whole game. Coach Brown from WC used to be an assistant at Boyle so Chuck really eased up early.

Quick and Painless for West Carter. Congrats to Coach Brown on a happy retirement. Well deserved!

Boyle cruised to easy victory tonight. Offense has been clicking as I don't think the 1st. team has punted the ball in the last 16 quarters. Was able to get 2 keys players the week off to heel after the Mercer game and the Rebels keep rolling along.

 

Wandale returns to Boyle for game #2. It will be near impossible to contain him to 10 yards rushing like the game 2 weeks ago.

Boyles special teams and defense scored 9 points in the first 2 minutes. Walker added a pick 6 before the end of the first 1/4. Hatter, Paycheck, Hellyer and Kelly completely stifled the West Carter offense.

37-0 after the 1st quarter, correct? They just sailed on through after that.

Congratulations to West Carter's coach Kevin Brown. He had a great career and made them a relevant, competitive program. Boyle is too much but that shouldn't sully a good season/career. West Carter is a better place because of the work he did there. Happy retirement!

Hats off to Boyle County and good luck rest of the season. Just another Classic example of why most 4 seeds do not have a chance against 1 seeds and why West Carter should not play up in 3A.
