Holmes plays Graves County tonight @ 7

Thanks I'm a big fan of Mitchell by the way (my neice) and I'm pretty fond of my Lady Dawgs as well!

Lexi Held last I checked had broken fingers and from what I understand the Anderson girl is suffering from a concussion leaving only Asyah Mitchell healthy in a sense (because she takes a licking and keeps on ticking) to bring the ball up! They are young and growing and turnovers will plague them till they get stronger... Nothing wrong with the coaching at Cooper just a lack of experience, height and depth!!

3 Freshman at the helm of this team as well. Turnovers are to be expected but the reward down the road for this experience is immeasurable at the moment. Cooper has a lot of young guard talent and will get better...

Seen where this team was 12-2

No way! There were good teams in the 9th then too! Alot of good players but Walz was a special player!

CHHS. Covington Holmes High School

I'm going to throw Erica Hallman into the mix!

I believe he is trying to say that the officiating is inconsistent! Because Avery was NOT T'd up yet Bolden was and both either should of both been T's or neither should have been.

They let Skinner break the press when the guards they have struggle with it (she is FAST)!! In offensive sets they put her in the post alot and that's fine if she isn't guarded by by a bigger athletic player but if she were to get the ball away from the basket and able to play in space she'd be unstoppable by any defender!

IMO the coaches don't utilize the talent they have very well!!

IMHO Holmes has played 4 quality opponents so far head lined by Boone County.

Does this bylaw pertain to Girls Basketball as well?

This was the championship game of the Country Music Highway Classic held at Johnson Central.

Hmmmm

Lady Dawgs play in the championship game of the Johnson Central tourney at 8:15 pm then have a return trip of 3 1/2 hours tonight!! Crazy!! News flash to tourney directors!!!!! Kids are off school for Christmas break not the parents responsible for picking up their kids at 3 a.m.!!!

Beat Highlands last year by 1 and lost to H.C. by 1 on free throws awarded to H.C. in the last seconds of their game all 3 teams are a year older a year more experienced H.C. added turner and Holmes added Tubbs, Johnson and Mayes.... PLEASE explain to me how Highlands and H.C. are a notch better than Holmes???

I seen East Carter last week in Shelby County... interested in seeing how Holy Cross handles their athletes!!

Hmmm no love for the LADY Dawgs I see!! A notch below!? Interesting! Cracks me up how people base opinions on word of mouth! Lady Dawgs return 4 starters from lasr years team 2 junior's a sophomore and a freshman! Add a starter that was at New Cath the last few years a starting point guard from Newport(defensive stud)and and quite possibly the best junior in Cincinnati last year(mine and many others opinion) but just a notch below! Hmmm interesting

Our smaller defenders struggled a little with her size and athleticism but Skinner struggled with Amori's strength especially when she took her left away from her in the post!! I'm not proclaiming her to be a a great all round player yer but her defense is worthy of taking notice!! Knock it all you want but it's half of the game. Every one is quick to speak on how many points their child is scoring but it's ok to recognize someone for outstanding defense as well!!! And just a side note this Holmes team has forced over a hundred turnovers in their last three games alone!!

Watch the tape she did not score from the field while guarded by Amori Gulley!

You may be right but Timmy is no stranger to the "INNER CITY" school system since his mom taught and retired fromHolmes his aunt still teaches and coaches at Holmes and he and his brothers are all graduates of Holmes! I stated I thought this job should have been offered to him that's all he's young and charismatic enough to get those kids attention and that's my point!

In actual one on one competetion against both girls where she was primary defender Skinner and Tibbs both were held in check by her defense 6 of Tibbs points came while she was on the floor and Skinner was held to free throws while guarded by her! Not building her up by any means and definitely not at the expense of others!! Her defense of the other teams bigs has been stellar this season and that's going to be a huge part of her teams success! !

Hannah Tubbs is going to make a name for herself in NKY and the state as a whole! She is a starting to get back to form after the knee surgery she had this summer and is getting good looks from the outside and has the ability to get a shot against anyone! She isn't having to carry the load like she did at Norwood and will only continue to get more comfortable with her new team. And I'm going to throw Amori Gulley in the mix for her combination of size, speed and athletic ability has taken on a few big time players in Skinner from GRC and Tibbs from Dixie and played great D and held both well below their respective averages!! She is intimidating to say the least but could play a little smarter and tougher and doesn't get nearly the touches in the post she deserves for the hard work she puts in on D. Both members of the 2016 class

You just have to fill out some out of District paperwork no tuition required.
