Is there any precedent for something like this?? If the boys are truly practicing and playing in the same gym then my mind is blown yet again!!

Final from Mason County

JV game very exciting second half!! Varsity game not so much! I did think S.H. came into their own midway thru the 3rd and showed a lot of heart!! And again if the coaches were out of line they would have been reprimanded!

I think the jv game was closely contested and exciting but no fan or coach got overly excited about a 31 pt. win??

Hate that this Holmes team is as good as it is and has worked hard to be successful on and off the court and every week this coaching staff faces a constant barrage of distain!!! Comments after every game are very seldom about the play on the court and are aimed at the antics of a passionate coaching staff! Maybe that's how Perkins and staff like it!! Keep your eyes on the coaching staff and your going to miss a good game when we play you!

That's just it they aren't!! So is this more a problem with your perception???

Playing outside the region and playing well is where the recognition comes from only time will tell if it makes them better!!!

Well then let them have the say the say!! Covington Schools Super Intendent was sitting directly in front of the coaching staff during the final moments of the game if he didn't have a problem then neither should you!!!

And Holmes and Holy Cross have both traveled outside of the 275 loop for looks at different talent and exposure!

Ahem 5 Nky coaches have voted

IF your assessment of his actions were correct he should have been T'd up and could have been T'd up I was sitting close by and never thought twice about anything said around me??

Lunatic??? How are these coaches not receiving any T's for their actions??

Just for sake of argument and all in good natured conversation but Henderson, Holmes HAVE roughly same strength of schedule around mid 50's and out of roughly 270 Programs in the state I wouldn't consider it a weak SOS?!?! And the 5 point win over Boone you referenced was without starting point guard Jaynice Stoval in the lineup defensively a game changer and a great facilitator of the Holmes offense. And by the way I think we all appreciate the service provided by these and other rankings!!

I am very proud of my Holmes Lady Dawgs!!!! But with all do respect they are ranked a little lower than they should be in this. Undefeated and have only played 2 home games with Wins on the road at GRC, Shelby County (NOT VALLEY) and Graves County who is a very good teams that has a win over a Tilghman team that has a win over Murray. Mercer County has split matchups with a 10-5 Bowling Green and IMO as we stand today and I cant speak for the Tennessee portion...Holmes is ahead of at least those three teams in KY rankings! And Holmes , Covington Holy Cross and Male all have wins over Boone County.

Final from St. Henry

And I just thought I was being more realistic! :thumb:

Etown Henderson Holmes Butler Male

Lady Dawgs win Queen of the Palms tournament in Ft.Meyers Florida with this victory and improve to 12-0

Where does onceuponatime get his info?? Did he dial the phone for coach Stowers?? Was he sitting on the corner of his desk nodding his head and prodding him on to make the call?? It's all here say and to be honest I'm not sure Perkins even concerns himself with the schedule!

Holmes head coach does not work at the middle school. He is the principal of the alternative school which is offsite.

I don't think you stirred up a hornets nest just brought up an interesting topic to debate! I'm 37 and I never had to worry about missing games due to vacationing because those things just weren't in the cards for my family but I can't imagine anything keeping me from playing even if it meant I stayed back to play! That's just me

Commitment!!! Add this word to the endangered species list!!

I can't wrap my head around this one! Missing players due to family vacation and then losing a game they should of won would leave a nasty taste in my mouth!!

Last week I was referencing the SOS rankings some garbage website had up.. My point was there is no way to evaluate strength of schedule statewide in girls high school sports just thought it was interesting conversation not meant to be taken literally!! You referenced max preps...So are you buying their rankings and saying you feel they are pretty accurate???

From looking at Graves County on the KHSAA website they have a history of traveling to Florida for the Holidays and this was probably just a fluke chance to run into another KY school.
