Well, the JV game was entertaining anyway. Ref's a little spotty.

Saw a Holmes fan in the corner behaving like a lunatic at every whistle against Holmes in the 2nd half. After the game the Varsity comes out for warm ups and lo and behold, turns out he's a Varsity coach.

He was not on the sideline coaching. He was in the stands. Turns out he was a Varsity coach is all I'm saying.

Further all I'm saying is that as adults- and even more importantly, Coaches- you should be able to show the kids a little more maturity and restraint.

IF your assessment of his actions were correct he should have been T'd up and could have been T'd up I was sitting close by and never thought twice about anything said around me??

I observed the same conduct of the Holmes varsity coach. It was not clear from where I was sitting what he said, but it seemed to me his LOUD comments were always more prevalent after an official's call the Holmes fans seemed to dislike.

 

His school officials may want to observe this person, I don't believe I would want him representing my school system.

Well then let them have the say the say!! Covington Schools Super Intendent was sitting directly in front of the coaching staff during the final moments of the game if he didn't have a problem then neither should you!!!

Also the AD and the Principal was all sittng together during the game.

Then they should be just a little embarrassed for the actions of someone who coaches for their school.

That's just it they aren't!! So is this more a problem with your perception???

So here's my question if he wasn't yelling at all and just the parents was would you feel the same way? IMO if you didnt hear what he was saying you shouldn't be upset because i also heard parents yelling practically the same thing he was yelling

That's just it they aren't!! So is this more a problem with your perception???

 

Look- this is all I will say on the subject then I'm done.

 

I've coached plenty myself - and as a coach, you need to compose yourself differently than parents and fans. The players you coach mimic your reactions and when your reactions include yelling and flailing around in the stands, then your setting a poor standard. If the administration doesn't see that then that's a whole other issue IMO.
