As a side note of this game, a male fan was ejected by one of the officials during the second half of this game. Interestingly, the male was the father of one of the WV players AND a teacher/employee of Walton-Verona Schools system. Is this acceptable conduct by a teacher ?

St.Henry 62 Lexington Christain 34 @ St.Henry Senior Night. Cru secures their 14th win.

St.Henry has played ALL but 2 and 1/2 games this year without it's senior starting point guard Natalie Weber. Last night another starting senior, Jordan Miller was also out of the lineup. This team has battled injuries and illnesses since game 3 of the season.

Did anyone in attendance at Connor Convocation Center @ Thomas More College notice anything alarming about the basketball court and surroundings ? There is absolutely NO padding on any of the end walls under the baskets. At one end there are two what appear to be large, metal HVAC louvered panels. Am I just a keen eyed barrister looking for future business or is this a real hazard to the players that may run, get pushed or fall out of bounds? I'm curious if others noticed this situation. I can't believe college players haven't ran into the bare walls and injured themselves by now.

If they weren't they would probably have cancelled the game.

aba

Who really cares.... It all comes down to tournament time.

St.Henry has struggled at times, due to injuries. They lost their starting point guard in the 3rd game of the year and she's still out. Coach Sturgeon has also been ham stringed with the loss one of his starting forwards and one of his quickest guard/forwards off the bench for a number of key games this season

If Holy Cross is the powerhouse everyone says, then the St.Henry team that played the first half of the All A Championship may surprise a few experts in the coming weeks.

St.Henry 61 Erlanger Lloyd Memorial 41 Played in a FREEZING Scheben Gym......

The JV game was exactly the time when the Holmes head coach was screaming from the stands.

AMEN

St.Henry made a great run, both offensively and defensively in the 2nd half. They looked like the light came on and they finally believed they could play with the Holmes team. The first half was another story. It's early January, we'll see how these teams end up come March.

Didn't Allen Feldhaus play basketball at Boone County High School in Florence ?

I observed the same conduct of the Holmes varsity coach. It was not clear from where I was sitting what he said, but it seemed to me his LOUD comments were always more prevalent after an official's call the Holmes fans seemed to dislike. His school officials may want to observe this person, I don't believe I would want him representing my school system.
